That looks fantastic!! How did you paint it? As in, what kind of paint, how many coats and how did you distress it? :T0 -
Lol!!! I can see a Lloyd Loom revival coming on
that still has the handle too, I have to buy a new one for mine
and the padding looks intact :T
Bargain at 99p
I have a lovely genuine lloyd loom chair in my bedroom I bought years ago for £10. I also have an ottoman that looks like lloyd loom but isn't the real thing and another smaller upright ottoman type, they are both just stored away in our loft bedroom, I must get them out and see where else I can put them. It just takes someone else to stir ideas up in your head!:D0 -

I absolutely adore your clock. It looks totally different painted. :T:T*Thanks to all who posts comps * :j0 -
I have a queue of items to F&B, but can't paint for long due to my RA.
I need to deal with a set of bookshelves in the bedroom, and spotted this:
which made me think I could 'loose cover' my bookcase as I can sit and sew for longer that I can stand and paint. It will take less than 2.5 metres of furnishing fabric.
Has anybody else tried this?I can cook and sew, make flowers grow.0 -
really enjoying this thread - unfortunately I am only on page 55!!!
My house is more shabby than chic but it would love to be chic - I live in hope
There are so many great ideas on her I hope to be able to do at least one or two
Thank you0 -

Beautiful job! I'm interested in hearing what paint/how many coats etc too... don't throw the string away. You always need string!
