I can just see a photo of your freezer :D

NO! it's my old fridge all iced up, I took that a while ago just to remind us how things used to disappear into the ice! We have a new one now thank goodness.
  • I received my F&B colour chart today and they look lovely! My dilema is do I wait until the new local Homebase is open (about a week) or trot 2 minutes down the road to the expensive small independent shop (which I've only just remembered sells F&B). I know this is a money saving website but I'm itching to have a bash at my chairs!

Could anyone tell me how much Homebase charge for their oil based eggshell?

I like jugs too... along with just about every other sort of bric-a-brac. How about this - matching vintage jugs and lamp!
Icandream, I love what you've done with that mirror!

Thank you - it didn't take long, and was fun to do. Itching to get on to another project now!

Thank you for your kind comments. The plant is a Coleous, it was given to me by a gardening friend, it was a while ago now, I also used to get free range eggs but he had to give up the chickens.

I will have to sort out more photos, mre to the point of this thread. I will have to get the camera going! but at least I know how to do it now.;)

I am thinking about kitting out my larder with some vintage storage tins, for flour etc. I don't know if these would be practical though, in terms of hygiene - has anyone tried keeping any food in these old tins? If so, is it alright?

    Thanks :)
