They will take the money, be assured, my son fell foul of this company at around the same time as you, the money came out of his account on the 23rd, we are going to write to them.
Be warned on other threads there are people who have this money taken annually, as they have not written and advised they no longer need the services of Wentworth.
It looks as if Watchdog were interested years ago in this company, it's been quiet but relentless since then by the sound of it, yet they are still getting away with taking £69 from people who are unable to get a loan from the banking services. I'm up for the fight, we'd even been into his bank and asked if the money would be taken without a signature, and they advised it couldn't be done...but it was!!!0 -

are you havin a laugh???
obviously you work for them or are connected to them somehow..
my hubby applied for a loan and got a phoine call within 5 minutes of the email being sent.. they asked for his card details INCLUDING the 3 digits on the back of the card, to confirm he had a full uk bank account, he was told there would be a £69.95 fee to which he then declined the services...
over a week later, they took the £69.95 out of the bank.... we have sent a letter recorded delivery requesting payment and threatening action and have also been onto the financial obudsman..
this company are an absolute joke and are taking smaller payments hoping that people arnt bothered about trying to claim it back!!!
every single website ive come across mentions them and their scam to get money from not even a legitimate way!!0 -

I was ripped off by Wentworth direct finance years ago, amazed to see they are still at it and that so far they have gotten away with it, shocking0
