Piney Jane.......your stash is not bad.....,I reckon that I need to live to about 300 to finish all the yarn I have bought or been given, added to the problem is the fact that my hands have become stiff since I was on chemotherapy.

  • I was wondering where this thread had disappeared to!

My Christmas knitting was market bags for coworkers.   Lovey cotton from Hobbii.  I'd make them again.

Just found out a coworker is pregnant, so some of the stash will be utilized.

I've just finished a baby cardigan, waiting on buttons to arrive.

@meanmarie now that is SABLE.  (Stash Acquisition Beyond Life Expectancy.)

Hope you've recovered well from the chemo and that it did its job properly.

This thread has really quietened down during my break away from the forum! Everyone too busy knitting to post?!

I'm currently knitting a lovely cabled aran cardi for my toddler, he has had this one in every size so far  :D in many different colours and I am sick of the sight of it! For once I only have a main project and a travel project (socks!) on the go for the first time in many many moons...... will 2022 be the year that I finish what I am making before Istart something new?!  :p

Ravelry: Knit Me Maple Leaf Wrap pattern by Kelsi Morris

Third time I've done it.   I like to have something to give to coworkers if they are leaving and I like them, lol.

@mary_hinge I'd love to say yes 2022 will be that year but as yarn people we all know that's highly unlikely LOL

What a lovely shawl @wondercollie - did you use the same colourways as on the pattern photos?

I haven't loom knitted anything in some time. I was trying my hand at crochet for a little while and made some cacti, but fell out of the yarn basket and into a host of other creative hobbies.
But I have been positively YEARNING to loom knit something so I think today I might have a go at trying something new (to me) with some mosaic fingerless mittens I found a pattern for...Its a wet grey late winters day so I think that feels apt
