I'm making a jumper from dk wool I was given ages ago. Its a pale grey acrylic and I'm doing the cuffs and neckband in a pale pink colour. The pattern is a simple raglan design and then seamed. Autumn League Pullover.
I also have a pair of socks on the go in trusty West Yorkshire Spinners signature 4ply, it has a bit of texture to it. I knit socks on dpns as I find it easier than on circulars.Grocery challenge June £105.09/£3201 -
Finished two matinee coats for pregnant coworkers.
They love the "old" patterns. My favourite is one my Mum knit for me back in 1959.
I'm still trying to sew up a cardigan I finished knitting in 2020. One more sleeve to sew in and then the side seams. It's long and slow because I have to snip off sequins and it's slow2 -
Thanks Savvysue, I'll give that a go.Spend less now, work less later.2

I am attempting to crochet a cardigan
I started off with the pattern and simply trying to see if I could follow the pattern, as some practice but then I did quite well and decided maybe I'd keep going - which meant getting the rest of the yarn for it.
Of course, no label. So ordered what I thought it was out of two options.... it was not that!
That's been sent back as I didn't like it enough to keep it and made a trip into town and found the right yarn on Saturday and I'm almost through the first ball of the newly purchased ones. I'm not at the stage of simply hooking the length of it, then it's sleeves, and ribbing to go.
The looms are still sat in their storage box, probably jealous of the crochet hooks getting an outing...
I am STILL debating the yarn for the moon wrap scarf though.Wealth is not measured by currency3 -
I've got a few projects on the needles at the minute, a pair of socks (also the West Yorkshire spinners 4ply), a raglan jumper for hubby, a baby blanket for SANDS, an octopus for DS2, baby socks for DS3, and have just cast on a Garter Squish blanket as a wedding present for my sister. I'd like to knit a shawl but can't settle on a pattern.Debt Pay-off

I have returned to knitting after a little break, current projects on the go are a 4ply lace cardigan for me, a DK jumper for DH's christmas present (should have been last year but didn't finish it)
and various charity projects - what i knit depends on how tired i am and how much i am concentrating - at the moment the easy knit charity scarves, hats and blankets are growing quite well.
Also, i have treated myself to a crochet book as i would like to use some of my old wool up in granny squares (I was taught to crochet by my grandma over 50 years ago so you could say i am a little rusty - but i look forward to the challenge.

Working on this halibut jumper for OH, he's tall so I've had to add a lot of extra length. It's been slow going because of freelance work being a bit much, but it's getting there!
That's beautiful @timehastoldme. The fish look great. I'd never thought to use fish in a yoke, but they work perfectly.
