Stylecraft 9549 - but the wool is variegated so I won't be doing contrast stripes.
Hmmm.... That pattern isn't listed in the Ravelry directory. It must be fairly new.
Since you've found it on Stylecraft's website, have you tried contacting them through the website? It's worth a try.

I have finished and wrapped the blanket.
It's ending up double bed size and friend\customer very happy.
Smaller projects on the list now. Including baskets and hats.

Well, I've made a promising start on the back of the new cardigan, but I've come away without a second ball of wool so I'll grind to a halt before long!
Fortunately I brought the pink balaclava but that's nearly finished.
So I may have to find the wool shop I spotted last time we were here ...
I may need to knit some crutch sleeves - has anyone ever done that? To make elbow crutches more comfortable.Signature removed for peace of mind0 -
I've never seen knitted crutch sleeves - only come across them in padded fleece etc - so I'll be very interested to hear how you get on0

Well, my thinking atm is that I don't know what will be needed, but if it's crutches, then having a pair of lower-arm warmers in a lovely soft cotton and a favourite colour might cheer someone up, no?
I'm in Amsterdam this week, and found the wool shop in the Albert Cuypstraat Market (I knew it was there from a previous visit) and found a cotton / acrilyc mix in the right colour, plus various ribbons in the 'oddments' box. The person I'm knitting for is in the ICU atm, and apparently someone had plaited her hair and tied it with a lovely blue bow. Now, I'm sure there's no budget for ribbons in the ICU, so I thought I'd take them a few when I manage to visit, to say thank you for caring.Signature removed for peace of mind0 -
ah, sleeves for the crutch user?
I was thinking padded sleeves for the crutch handles
Lower arm warmers sound great and I think that your idea of donating ribbons is a lovely one0 -

Hello. The ribbons are a sweet idea.
I’ve been thinking about elbow crutches and what you can do for the user. Three years ago, I spent 6 weeks using them. The BIG problem with modern crutches is that all your weight is on your hands - your elbows don’t take your weight - unlike the old wooden crutches that tucked up under your armpits and shared the weight between your armpits and your hands. In addition, unlike the old wooden ones, with modern crutches you can’t balance on them and use your hands. Carrying things is impossible. (Making a cup of tea was a 12-step process and then I had to drink it where I made it. I used to wish for old-fashioned crutches.)
The only things that would be helpful for your friend are some sort of padding for their hands (e.g. sheepskin gauntlets to absorb sweat and spread the weight) or a cross body bag for carrying things.
Sorry

Ooh I’d love to joun in with this!
I went to a craft and chatter group tonight at my LYS. I started crocheting a scarf to match the mittens I’ve started in melange dk, the mittens in some pure wool from my stash which matches my knee length winter coat!
I’m also crocheting a “call the midwife” blanket for my pregnant sister with yarn recycled from a wool cable jumper I was given as its far too small for anyone I know, and will soon be casting on 17th c hose, just as soon as I finish a project. Hoping to start a cozy jumper ir cardigan for myself soon, undecided on yarn or pattern and still doing the occasional granny square using stash yarn to make a throw for myself.0 -
