    Thanks for trying to work it out for me Seakay. In fact my MIL tried to work out the pattern and we came to the conclusion that it wasn't the pattern for me. I did however find a nice lace shawl in one of my magazines and have managed to get hold of the pattern which luckily I can use my 4 ply with so I have now started that and it is looking nice so far.
