    Hello all

I am knitting myself a jumper and am stuck  does anyone know HOW to do wrapping ?
    I have these instructions:
Work to turn point, slip next stitch purlwise
to right needle. Bring yarn to front.
Slip same stitch back to left needle. Turn work and bring yarn in position for next stitch, wrapping the stitch as you do so.
And its the bit in red i dont understand
    Help Please :o

This action is wrapping, usually used for short row knitting so that you're not left with a hole. I hope this solves your problem, good luck.

Hope you're feeling a bit better now OrkneyStar?
I have been been recently posting on the "knit a square" thread as well, but would like to join in with you all on this one as well. I've been knitting for years as well, mainly things for me or the family. Going to start doing some charity stuff shortly. I'm just finishing off a baby jacket that I shall give to one of the mums to be at our church :-)

    Hi all,

On a knitting go slow at present for some reason, a most unsuitable time of year for it with all the presents I have still to finish.

Just popping in to say that I had an email from kemps wool shop yesterday to say that they have lots of offers on...didn't even look at them as I am afraid to buy any more wool until I have knitted at least some of my stash!

I noticed on Ravelry that Kemps have Rowan Bamboo Tape reduced to 69p  in 22 colours too! ;)

Popped to Lidl today, even though still feeling rough, and had a look at their wool offers.
Didn't get any of the popcorn stuff, but did get some of the scarf and sock wool and also some stuff that looks like DK. They had needles too but the crochet ones were tiny and the knitting ones were not in sizes I need....dpn's, circulars and normal ones.
    hth someone.

Occassionally the offers are on in different stores at different times so could you check your particular store on the Lidl website....did you ask anyone in there ? FYI the sock wool looks about 3-4 ply. I had wanted white in the 'chamonix' and they had all the colours but that!

Treated myself to a ball of that Sirdar Snowball yarn, and knitted up a scarf this afternoon :-) It knits up really quick, and is very effective :-)
