Hi All,
These posts have made me think. I had a huge money tree that had been growing for years.... I had a great job and was not in any way short of money. I had taken the stems that dropped off and planted them in other containers and put them round the house. BUT... as they don't need watering so very often, I sort of forgot about them and three of them died. The big one came to grief when I was trying to move it and I dropped the pot. I sort of salvaged what I could and re potted it.
I didn't really think about it all, but in a short space of time,(four years ago) my partner died, I was made redundant, did scrappy sorts of jobs until I was injured at work (stacking shelves in Tesco!) and am now on £45 a week statutory sick pay.
Reading this thread made me rush to the remaining bits of my money tree! I have now started cossetting it in the hope that things will improve! I don't know if this is connected but it has started sprouting new leaves and this week I had an interview for a really great job. I even went to B&Q to see if they had any more money trees but their indoor plant section was really small and they didn't have any. I'm going to the larger warehouse one tomorrow to see if they have any!
It's odd, but the more I think about it, the more it all ties in.... lots of money trees, lots of money. I will never forget to water it again!I'm not as green as I'm cabbage looking!

mrs bear - good luck with job!! - good news.
turning into scrooge - does your friend have any tips to give us???
All I know is that when I put my money plant in the SE I end up spending money rather than saving it!0 -
Been reading this post with great interest. Dabbled in Feng Shui a few years ago and do have a crystal and some coins on red ribbon. Will definitely be buying a money tree now!
Can someone post the money spell on here please, or is it only to be PM'd?
Thanks in advance!

Hi
Just read all the thread (now my eyes hurt)
Any chance that I can have the money spell too please? TIA
Going to look for a Buddha and money tree tomorrow. Think a shop in town sells Buddha's but never been in the shop, and then may send my parents to B&Q for tree as they're OAP's/ :A
Recently lost job, currently not having much luck with any sort of interviews either. But is giving me the chance to try and de-clutter the house a bit I suppose  v big job! If I do need to relocate I may have enough to pay a few months rent on a new place...0 -
Money Spell for me too please!
Got my money tree from my sister, a leaf from her well established monster. Its currently thriving on my kitchen windowsill. (West facing). Don't really want to move it south as there are no windows there.
Hoping it grows a bit more so I can pinch another leaf off it.

I went to the B&Q warehouse where they DID have money trees... and then went to Morrison's supermarket for the rest of the shopping. Guess what? They have money trees, the same size as the B&Q ones, but at £1.79, rather than £3.59! Thought those of you who haven't got one yet might like to know that.
Fingers crossed it works for us all!I'm not as green as I'm cabbage looking!

Shez wrote:Some people say its the SE corner of the house, but Lillian Too says it should be the SW direction???? can anyone help here?
I am experimenting with both corners now to see what happens - I did have it in the SW, but moved it thursday to SE corner - fridge freezer door broke last nite!! hope i can get a bracket otherwise its a new one!
My plant is in the SW because thats where i thaught i read it had to be.Then later on i read on here it had to be in the SE so i moved it and my money luck went downhill quite rapidly or seemed to anyway:eek: .Now its back in the SW and things have started to pick up nicely again.Sounds mad i know, but i think the plant realy does bring luck,or is it because i want it to and believe it will.:o0 -
I'm moving house in two weeks into a lovely square-shaped flat, in what I think is a fairly auspicious position IIRC what I read a few years ago when Feng-Shui first became "fashionable". It has "protection" in the form of a hill behind it, and a smallish river followed by a large open space in front of it... I just can't remember whether the river is supposed to flow L-R or R-L!!
I'm going to buy a money tree as soon as possible, and try and strengthen my "education" area as I'm about to start my final year of uni!
Also, I'd love the money spell if it's still doing the rounds (I haven't managed to read all of this thread)0
