oh hello, i was only thinking about this thread yesterday, wondering how everyone was getting on, anything to report?

Well according to one book wealth should be SE Corner of house, but the Bagua grid places it in my SW corner of my house. I have been experimenting with both corners to see what happens.

anyone know what the weightloss corner/cures are?? ha ha

Re the plant in the bathroom - should there be no plants in the bathroom at all or only in the correct corner, does anyone know (I have one on the window sill).

I have just been reading that there should be a bamboo plant and it should be reflected in a mirror.

See here:

there are loads of other 'how to's' there too .... just scroll to the bottom.

Another tip to add to those mentioned by Elona (Thanks btw icon7.gif) is to keep plug holes closed.
I can say whatever I like here ... 'cos no one can see me .. ner ner ner ner ner !!!....

How do you know I ain't sitting here butt naked?!?!

I thunk I've made you think for a minute!

Get ready for an essay here.
Read some of the posts on this thread yesterday and decided to get myself a money plant. As OH was going to B&Q last night, I asked him to take a look see if they sold them. He brought me one home last night and I placed it in the corner of the livingroom. Through the post this morning I got a letter from npower saying we owe them over £1000 and consequently they are amending our dd to £253 per month  OH says I have put the plant in the wrong place. Anyhow, to cut a long story short, we have been recieving estimated bills for far too long now, and after having no success asking npower to agree to a smaller dd I made a call to Energywatch, who advised me to make a formal complaint, which I have done. A manager rang me back about an hour ago saying that as my bills have been estimates for so long, we are entitled to compensation, his recomendation is approx £80, he also worked out a more resonable repayment figure of £159,which I am waiting to have confirmed. I am waiting for npower to get back to me on this matter, wish me luck.

• That is good news then!! Put the money plant in a red pot or tie a red ribbon round it and see what happens tomorrow!!

I've been Money Tipped!
Hadn't connected the following, but having read this thread has made me think!

Went to our neighbours' BBQ last and was talking to one of their friends who is interested in Feng Shui. Amongst other things, she suggested placing a small coin (I used a 5p) on the outside door jamb of the bathroom (or WC if separate). I think she said it encourages the chi that governs money to stay in the house.

Anyway, a few days later, I got a letter from my loan company asking me if I wanted to apply for more money! Obviously I'm not going to take as I'm trying to get out of debt, not into more. Makes you wonder though. Ok, some of you will see it as a bad thing, but I choose to look at it in a positive light. (I'm a half full glass person most of the time).

Off to do a car boot sale tomorrow, so we'll see if I make some money there!

My money plant died and OH accidentally broke the lovely green pot (complete with red ribbon tied round it :D ) that held it.

Mmmmmmm....wonder if that's why all manner of !!!!!! has befallen this house lately?

Not sure if it is 'happening' here or not!

My red ribbon is not big enough to go around the pot, so, I threaded the chinese coins in them and put them around the base of the actual plant.

But, on friday morning, I was standing out side work, having a smoke, and saw a penny (heads up) picked it up (that was a biggy for me, last time I picked a coin up of the floor my Mum MADE me do it :rotfl: ) and said that superstitous (sp?) line ... see a penny pick it up, all day long you have good luck!

Did I? well, in a nut shell ... YES! Work = fantastic day. Got home to find just over £70 worth of cheques all for surveys I have done and completely forgotten about:rolleyes: . Also, got a discount code from a company, seen a sofa I was ohh'ing and ahh'ing over so may go for it now!! Got a LV sent through post for another survey that I have yet to do!

so, was it the penny, the money plant, positive thinking or just sheer luck ... ... don't really care :D but long may it continue :j hmmm, off to do the lotto!
