  • Ooooh Shez, that wasn't on the plan I'm sure...I think that you have to use your positivity to think of this as not an ending but an opportunity to get something better

Oh Shez, so sorry to hear your news.

There is another way of looking at it though...

Maybe losing this job will be the catalyst for you getting the job of your dreams or a better paid position somewhere else. If you wanted it to be you could make this the start of the rest of your life. Good Luck.

hey guys, just logged in to see all your replies - many thanks for all your concerns.

yes, i am trying to stay positive, quite difficult trying to concentrate at work though as you can imagine, dont really want to be here :(
I am trying to look at this as being time to close the old door and open up a new one! yes it might be the shifting point that sometimes we all need when we get stuck in a rut and afraid to take the plunge. you never know.....

(if im honest i have been suspecting that things were gonna change for me this year)

well i have my health, husband and lovely kiddies so lets be grateful for what we do have :)

Heh its a good job ive started on the OS board, im gonna probably need some of those tips now!!

If or when I get some better news I will report back.

    thanks again all.

That "troll" was trying to point out that there are more useful things to spend one's time on that Feng Shui because it's a load of nonsense and doesn't work.

Thanks for the insult - non taken btw ;)

What are people doing with their coins (Like Honey?) I have mine on the back of my front door to encourage wealth into the house...

I got my coins in an envelope that said to either put them on the back of the front door, or into your purse/wallet. I just put mine into my purse when i got them and left them there

I think someone may of mention putting the coin somewhere in the jade plant. in which I did. But don't actually rember where and not quite willing to read all 328 posts to fnd out. So if the person there that had post about putting the coin in the plant, Can you refresh my memory and tell me where. As I have only hanged it over serveral branches.

Today a fresh leaf dropped but nothing seems to be wrong with it overall. Decided to plonk the leaf in the same pot till I decided where the future new plant will go. Anyone want it?

Money wise, No money coming through the door, winnings, suprises etc. But I have noticed that I am not struggling with money as bad as before, and I am currently able to oorganise and control my spending with a clearer head. Which is goog enough for me! :j

oh well i put my buddha, money plant in my wealth corner - hoping for my long awaited pay rise...and guess what............I told yesterday that I'm gonna be made redundant, the company is closing.....

so much for my feng shui..:(

I'm sorry to hear you're going to lose your job but may i ask if you will qualify for redundancy pay. the reason i ask is because the buddha will bring you money but not always from what you would calass as i good source. The day i rubbed the belly of my buddha someone slammed into the back of my car on a toally clear beautiful quiet day. Yes i got a payout of insurance but the accident nearly cost me my life and left me with a disabillity. Sometimes it can be a little like a back handed slap.

The advice I got was to plant a pound coin (english) in the soil of the money plant.

The three chinese coins with red ribbon I put in my purse.

Won £100 in premium bonds this week and found out we needed to pay to repair garden wall etc - insurance will not cover it!

If you're serious and no-one else has claimed it I'd love it please. We could really use all the financial help we can get at the moment!!

If you're happy to let me have it PM me and we'll sort out details.

    Thanks
