I keep a £5 note in the zip part of my purse but i was told to fold it in half length ways then fold in half again and atatch 2 10p size magnets at each side and put it in your purse/wallet and forget about it.I also havnt used it in the last year its been there.Sounds sad to some of you i know but im not harming anyone.
For the magnets i just dug some out of my old fridge magnets and put them one at each side of the fiver.0 -
Hi Hilstep - can you go through the folding in a bit more detail? I seem to have ended up with a childs version of a sailing boat0

I've now bought that book as I am Queen of Clutter, just need to wait for it to be delivered! So thanks for that. Though I am unsure it will work on me, I am really really bad, I get it from my nan who refuses to chuck anything.
Great thread. Badgergal you just reminded me my mum has one (or a few in her house). I believe fung Shui but I'm not good with the no clutter thing as I am such a hoarder too. I do put toilet seats down - shame husband doesn't really. I hate facing a mirror in my bedroom. My mum has told me about beds shouldn't be placed in a certain position in a bedroom (think beds in house are ok). Front door ideally shouldn't face directly through to back door (basically money comes in and out it goes) so if possible get some door beads or whatever they are called to help 'block' the flow of cash going straight out back door. Number 4 is unlucky as sounds like the word death in chinese, so where possible don't live in a house with the number 4 in it. Also not ideal if you can see or are close to a cemetary. Read earlier on this thread about positioning of a house, if the outside is a bit dark and gloomy (ie shadowed byt some other house building) not ideal.Tesco points: 101 (£21.50, £19.50, £7.50, £21 & £5)

I have bought a buddha - does it matter what area you put him in so long as he is high up? or does he have to be in the wealth corner? Also does it matter what colour he is? Ive noticed you can get gold, red, brassy coloured buddhas.
I havent got any coins yet, hoping to get some soon.
Have just got my water feature up and running in the garden though.0 -

It's supposed to mean you'll never be short of money. I started off with £5, then £10 andthen a £20 note folded. In five years, I have never had to use that £20! When I'm down to my last pound, something seems to turn up! Don't ask me how it works, ity just does, try it!!!
I have a similar type of thing, but it's nothing to do with Feng Shui.
Years ago, my friend won a small amount of money in a local newspaper competition and put a £20 note from her winnings into one of those small frameless clear plastic picture frames. She had written under it....'in case of emergency, break glass!' She gave it to me and it's been hanging on my wall ever since.
There's been many a time at the end of the month when I've been skint and could have done with the cash, but could never bring myself to spend it. I always felt that as long as that £20 was there, it would somehow safeguard me from being destitute, lol! Isn't it weird how you think sometimes???Herman - MP for all!0 -
