Hi Kimi
Thanks for that. I have no raspberry left now. My strawberry did kind of set but it was a lot thinner than normal. I am going to make up the mix and switch to my little heated yogurt maker, just while we are having this cold spell.
I am pretty sure that is what is going on. I threw the raspberry away as you said, it just seemed a bit off - could not even have drunk it.Grocery Challenge £139/240 until 31/01

Regarding my complaint about the Raspberry variety not setting, I tried to find an EasiYo website to see if I could get advice from them about the problem or make a complaint about the product failing to do what it says on the box. EasiYo doesn't seem to have a UK address so I can't find out whether it was perhaps a faulty batch.
As I bought the product from Lakeland, I have complained to them via the "Contact us" e-mail facility on their website and I suggest that if anybody else bought their product from there and didn't find it satisfactory, they complain to them. As Lakeland seem to be EasiYo's biggest distributor in the UK, they might be able to get us an official response from the company about what the problem is.0 -
ive just bought an easiyo kit and have had 2 attempts both disasters , i followed instructions to the latter but both vanilla and raspberry never set , so dissapointed , id send the whole lot back but the postage would be god knows what.0

Hi guys
I was given and EasiYo yoghurt maker as a Christmas Present. I made up the Greek yoghurt yesterday and it is the nicest yoghurt ever! This is my last sachet of the Greek and I wondered if I could make the next batch just using a couple of tablespoons of this yoghurt and UHT milk?? If so, will it still be nice a thick like the Greek youhurt is??
TIAI also remember the words of my friends, but I would rather have enemies than friends like youwould like to make it known that ZubeZubes avvy is a DHN, she's not dancing

Yes you can have a look back a few pages for similar posts.0 -
Add a couple of tablespoons of dried milk to the UHT/yog mix, and it will come up really thick and creamy.I'm a retired employment solicitor. Hopefully some of my comments might be useful, but they are only my opinion and not intended as legal advice.0

I bought it to make lactose free yoghurt as to buy it costs a fortune! The first time I made it with milk and popped it on the windowsill but on reflection it has been REALLY cold so that may have affected it.
Second and third times I made it with lactofree milk and popped it in the airing cupboard but also (thanks Savvy_Sue) I added more boiling water so that it almost came up to the top of the jar. Both subsequent times this and the airing cupboard seems to make the difference.
You can buy individual sachets from Julian Graves for £2.30 so it may be worth trying a different variety and seeing how it goes before sending them back? Thats what we did, raspberry was a flop but have since made apricot and greek yoghurt (that is divine!) and it has been beautiful!
Edit:Just to say as well that the apricot and greek yoghurt mixes seemed thicker instantly when we put them in where the raspberry always seemed really thin from the start!
I was really disappointed the first time but thanks to all the advice on this thread it seems to be doing ok now :TFree/impartial debt advice: Consumer Credit Counselling Service (CCCS) | National Debtline | Find your local CAB0 -
I am home today, so I will make up a batch but put it in my little glass jarred (heated) yogurt maker. This tends to work in about six hours so will report back later. I have some greek, so will make that.
I have used Easi yo many many times and it is only these last few goes which have failed.Grocery Challenge £139/240 until 31/01

I'm beginning to wonder whether these failures to set are as a result of faulty product but if nobody complains to the manufacturer, we may never find out. So please complain to EasiYo - does anybody have a contact address for them as I couldn't find one? However, I have complained to Lakeland, which is where I bought my product.0
