I'm sure that's not enough Easiyo, you should use the whole sachet to make 1litre of yog. I think that some of the others use 1-2 tablespoons of made yoghurt, left over from a previous batch, with their UHT milk. I'm not one of the experts here, I would wait for one of them to clarify this before you go ahead and waste your ingredients.
I apologise if that's misguidedly alarmist, but it won't do any harm to wait
I shall be trying the caramel on your son's and your recommendation

I had one raspberry mix left. I spotted the post by the user who was having difficulty with getting it to set. Out of curiosity I mixed mine up with slightly warm water and left it overnight.
Just had a look and it is all watery still! I left it quite near the radiator as it is very cold at the moment. What is going on? My last berry mix was all watery too. (that was a couple of months ago). Like someone else said, I have done all the same things I usually do?Grocery Challenge £139/240 until 31/01

I don't use the sachets as I prefer plain natural yog, but yes, I use a couple of tablespoons of yog from my previous batch as a starter for the next one. I can't see any reason why you shouldn't use a starter from a previous batch of easiyo yog, but I think you'd have to make the starter batch up according to the easiyo instructions. I imagine also, that if you are using a flavoured sachet the flavour will be much weaker in subsequent batches (but I am sure someone who is experienced with Easiyo will be along soon)I'm a retired employment solicitor. Thanks. Just had a look, they are all best before August/September 2010. Just made a strawberry one. Will post how it turns out. Must make sure I use up these yog mixes now at least one every week as I have quite a few boxes! That was the first raspberry I had trouble with though.Grocery Challenge £139/240 until 31/01

What's the most out-of-date Easiyo you've used - and it worked and you didn't die?
I've been keeping mine in the fridge but they're at least 6 months overdue:o:o I go thru phases

Well my strawberry has not set so far. I am wondering if it's the cold weather?
I might make up my next one and put it in my little heated yogurt maker, the ones that come with little glass jars - they seem more fool proof.
I have had a disastrous day old style way - waited four hours for my Panasonic bread maker and even the bread had not risen. Had to chuck it away. So fed up.Grocery Challenge £139/240 until 31/01

According to your posts its only been 6 hours? Hardly time. I'd always go 12 hours minimum.0 -

Oh yeah I know - I'm just on a negative vibe what with the bread and the raspberry one not setting recently! Think I shall put it in the airing cupboard overnight. Thanks.Grocery Challenge £139/240 until 31/01

Hiya Larmy
Just wanted to say that I bought an easiyo and tried the raspberry one first and it was a complete flop! Didnt set at all, and tasted as if it had almost gone off.
Filled the canister up with a little more water and popped it in the airing cupboard with the apricot mix in it and it is beautiful! So not sure whether it is just that batch of raspberry that is not good or whether the secret is the warnth of the airing cupboard, but my boys are already attacking it with gusto so will have to make some more tomorrow
