Those are the best flavours! You could always send them to me
It is nice to be able to solve "issues" for other people so easily....

YEARS ago, well in the 1960s anyway, lots of people were making their own yoghurt, and we used a vacuum flask. it was gorgeous but i cant remember the method.0

Thanks for this - I know its not the cheapest but when a child says "why can't I have our yogurt?" its worth the premium (though still much cheaper than supermarket little pots!).
When I have the confidence I'll try to make it from scratch.0 -
Just a quick question. I want to use the easiyo packet mix in my lakeland yoghurt maker. How much water in ml would I need to add. Because on the easiyo packet it says fill up to line.
ThanksFebruary Grocery Challenge £300
Spent so far £55

Its 1 litre of water for the 1 Kg of yogurt. You make up the complete sachet at once.

BTW Wahl is definitely the cheapest online especially if you order 10 as you can select the flavours and types individually. HTH0 -
Thriftlady, I've just read your earlier post about making yummy french recipe yoghurts, but can't work out if you were doing them (and the nice-sounding coconut one) in an easiyo or some other yog maker ? I can't see why they wouldn't work in an easiyo, tho those glass pots are horribly seductive. I am planning to get the french recipe book you recommended but just wanted to know if you're using the easiyo jar to 'set ' it ?
(There are times when this forum really DOESN'T help me save money !!!!)0 -

Thanks thriftlady - though you are a BAD lady to introduce me to seductive things I really fancy and haven't got space for (let alone the ££££s). The Severin yog maker is - as you say - much cheaper on Amazon.fr and I'm going to have to go away and wash my hair now so my fingers don't stray there on the keyboard.
(tho I have just ordered the book - darn it)
I shall try your nice recipe (while I wait for my book) in the Easiyo and will report back in case other people want to try too.
THANK YOU !!:beer:0
