My children are enjoying it at the mo, but with a freezer full I am sure the novelty will wear off soon !!! We have reached our target and now have a set of bunk beds, the mattresses and a king size mattress all courtesy of Tesco and their beef offer. Let's hope the next offer (if there is one) is just as good.I am the only Voucher Queen in my village LOL

Is that all from MFI Welsh Dragon? Is it ok using vouchers in there, someone on here mentioned they seem to have a permanent sale on and that you can't use your vouchers on sale stuff. I am wanting to save up for a bed too. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

As far as i Know (and others have posted) MFI will let you use your coupons on anything they sell really but they do now have a minimum spend - I think it was £250 but not sure. The best thing to do is email MFI (not Tesco) and double check - that way you have a hard copy of what they say.0

yea your right kazzea, you now must spend at least £2500

I too have been buying quite a lot of extra birdseye beef etc for the extra points. Just going to the various tescos in my area and buying them at the till in the normal way in small quantities each time over the last 3 - 4 days (not bulk ordering at customer services). Managed to buy over 200 boxes, without question at the tills. I have just looked at my clubcard account online at tesco . com and I am missing over 8400 points from yesterday! i.e. yesterdays online clubcard points balance has decreased! i have emailed tesco for an explanation.
will let you know the response in due course.
is anyone else missing points from their account?0 -
saver123 it takes 2 days for your points to be added on.
as it for being decreased i would phone tesco about that.0 -

Have you had your August clubcard mailing yet?? If not then the points may have disappeared because they have been sent out with the mailing0 -
No, I have had my August mailing at start of August.
Have bought beef since that mailing. Points had all shown up online (about 14000 ish) last night an now balance on line is 6000 ish (i.e 8000 - odd lower).
I have all my receipts with points details on them as back up.
Still waiting for Tesco to get back to me.

Was wondering if it was just me that is lower on points or whether a general tesco computer glitch or something???0 -

You can use the clubcard tokens on any item in MFI subject to a minimum spend of £250.
There are a few rules with regard to MFI deals tokens though.
Clubcard vouchers are valid for two years but once they are converted to deals they are only valid for 6 months.
If you look on the Tesco website, all the deals have different codes. Some start with S, some start with P . The P ones are when you fully pay for something and are then only valid for that one deal eg.,RAC breakdown cover.
The S ones, even if you apply for MFI and then change your mind, you can then use the deal token anywhere else that is also an S code because it doesnt actually say MFI on the token when you get it.
The other big thing to remember to anyone who is saving for something big in MFI is that when you receive your tokens in the post, there is an MFI flier in there stating various terms and conditions.
Here are a few:- They can only accept a maximum of 15 tokens in one transaction. I ordered MFI ones and it did say this in the small print.
The tokens come in £5, £10, £40, £60 or £100. Obviously, if you've got 15 tokens at £10 each, this wont go far if you're buying a kitchen! If you want the £100 ones, I would wait and then apply for them all at the same time.
I'm not sure whether, in reality, they stick to the 15 token limit though. I bought a bed and paid with five tokens (3 x £100, 2 x £10) and they had to put each tokens number onto the screen. I'm only guessing but I've got a feeling that there were only 15 slots on the screen for them to put the tokens in. I know that some MSEers have got huge numbers of clubcard vouchers so they might have problems if spending over £1500. I'm about to send off my clubcard vouchers to by a 3 piece suite in MFI. Its going to be in the region of £1900 which I have got enough clubcard vouchers for so I will keep you posted as to how I get on!
If any of you are wondering how on earth I've got so many vouchers, I did manage to buy a lot of beef before the 31 July deadline but also, members of my family aren't interested in the deals but do shop in Tesco so I buy their vouchers off them at their face value! That way, they're not losing out by giving them away and I'm gaining because they are worth 4 times as much!
The only other thing that might happen is this....the bed I bought from MFI (totally with clubcard deals tokens) had to be returned because it was a lot wider than their advertised width. The refund couldnt come back to me because I had paid with clubcard tokens!!! I asked them if I bought another bed, could I put the value towards it and they said their computer wouldnt allow it. I would have to pay for the second bed outright and the refund for the first bed would come back to me via clubcard vouchers in my next mailing. So, effectively, I would have to wait 3 months (as this was the end of May) to get my refund and buy something else. I phoned tesco and they said that the points go back onto the clubcard account of the vouchers I'd sent in. I was lucky, my £80 of vouchers were all mine but if they were made up of friends and family they would get the points back and not me! I've also bought some on ebay....imagine the original seller getting the points back!!!!
Hope this has helped someone!!!
Best wishes,

Just got back form my shop at Tesco and found 12 beef in gravy. But when I got home I have noticed the lad at the checkout has only scanned 7 of them. This was because I picked up a wrapped plastic pack that had six beef in gravys bundled together and he has scanned the whole pack as 1!
I don't know whether to go back down to town to customer services and say " You have undercharged me". Do you think that they will look at me as if I am daft? Or shoudl I just sit and enjoy my free beef in gravys?0
