been to tescos no beef at all still the kids used a temp card and gave me there 100 points coupon from there shop (self scan) i used self scan and i had a coupon for 150 points off a cd plus 2x 100 points from the kids temp card shop, i scaned both and the self scan froze, the self scan helper came over and took the coupons saying they were not working properly at the moment and went off to add them herself, it seems she was wrong as i did get all my pionts on my self scan 350, then the nice lady added another 250, second time this has happened to me, but i am not complaining.Another day another R&R
kindly sponsored by tescos.

After being refused my bulk order of beef in gravy at cs and only being allowed to buy 6 from the stockroom ,I thought I would try a smaller Tescos and see how I would get on.
After finding no B in G in the freezer I went off to cs and asked if I could order 30 and was told no problemso will be picking up on Saturday (fingers crossed)
If I get these will have enough for my MFI dining table and chairs so will be very pleased :j :j
I kept asking the girl at cs if I could pay up front (had my clubcard at the ready like a loaded pistol) but she said I had to wait untill I picked my order up. She seemed a little surprised as to why I was so keen to pay there and then.
Now the only thing is my kids are well hacked off with beef in gravy, beef
stroganoff, beef in bagette, beef and veg etc. and when I ask then everyday what they want for tea all they say is not beef. Middle child wants to know why the beef has multi coloured shimmers on it ????
They will have to eat it though as the neighbours have refused it and I need to clear one of the freezer shelves.0 -
Just a note to say that I have now managed to buy 18 Beef in Gravy today from another Tesco, and they took an order for 72 more to collect Monday or Tuesday (when the points deal ends) - also, the manager from Cheshunt called back to say that I could have 6 deals (ie. 18 boxes) after all! Many stores out of stock now though.

Impressive you have 422 points already!
your 422 points translates to £4.22 clubcard vouchers to spend in store or £16.88 of a selection of products found in their deals brochure (which is easy to pick up in store). It's a bit late to start collecting points to pay for your kitchen, but when you do buy the kitchen, give them your clubcard and you'll get some more points. There are loads of ways you can collect points both in and out of Tesco. The first post on this thread gives good pointers and there are lots of companies which will swipe your card when you buy from them (like National Tyres, Powergen, Marriott and more). The Deals brochure will details more on these companies.
And welcome to MSE too!Who made hogs and dogs and frogs?

Hi
Thanks everyone for this deal, I collected 500 packs of beef burgers and chips and 162 beef in gravy which I luckily managed to get before the end of July deadline.
Can now happily report that clubcard vouchers have been converted and after booking my holiday they are winging there way to Cosmos. 1/2 price break to Canada next aprill Hurrah!!0 -
Just received my delivery, I ordered 30 and got 15, I thought I wouldn't get any after all the media hype so I'm well pleased.

Have just been reading back through this thread for info on my missing clubcard points (suppose I shouldn't complain, but some points have gone awol...) and have noticed that all Charlotte_'s posts have disappeared.
Chaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrlotte_, where are youuuuuuuuuuuuuu?:hello:
Charlotte_ very deservedly won post of the month in May for her Little Me gift set post. I hope she's not felt that she's been chased off the site because of the disagreement she encountered on this thread.:think:Who made hogs and dogs and frogs?

its not too bad when you cant be bothered to cook! Here dead we lie because we did not choose
To live and shame the land from which we sprung.
Life, to be sure, is nothing much to lose,
But young men think it is,
And we were young.
