Just come back from Tesco's, shelf was still full, has been for last few days, think they must have a load of beef in back, as go in most mornings/evenings and it is usually full.
So paid for 120 packs, hope another offer comes along soon, as almost got the £6000 for my hols :j0 -

EXCUSE ME IF i AM A BIT THICK - BUT THE CLUBCARD PONINTS CAN YOU SAVE THEM FOR A WHILE - I HAVE ALWAYS THOUGHT WHEN THEY SEND THE VOUCHERS OUT (THAT I NORMALLY AND STUPIDLY HAVE BEEN SPENDING AT TESCO UNTIL I CAME ACCROSS THIS SITE) THAT YOU HAVE TO SPEND THEM BY THE EXPIRY DATE ON THE ACTUAL VOUCHER?Lightbulb moment 10-06-06

PONDSAVER,
The vouchers (when they arrive) are valid for two years.
However, if you're saving up for something bigger, then I have always found that if you call the Clubcard number, they will generate new vouchers, which will obviously have another two years to run.
I think in the past, you need to return the unused vouchers, but make sure you log the numbers down, in case they go missing.
DONT SPEND THEM... and also turn your CAPS LOCK OFF!!0 -
Pondsaver, you can save club card points for as long as you want. If your vouchers are coming to the end of their time, Tesco will add the points back on to your balance for you.In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?
It's time to make that change.

Today is such a sad day. I'm not sure what I will do with my life any more! :rotfl:
Actually, I wasn't that greedy and only got a few dozen beef in gravy deals. Yesterday, our local big store had run out of beef in gravy and when I asked the shelf alignment executive whether they had any out the back, she almost growled at me! maybe i wasn't the first to ask?
Anyway, to cut a long story short, we ended up with 9 chicken in gravy. Adventurous, not quite as good value but still double your money back in cc deals and a free plastic bag of food to boil! mmmmm!)
Doubt we will see a deal this good again. Beef in Gravy - we will miss you.
Please post further tributes here...
