Well thats me done for now.Just reckoned up that I`ve 21 receipts since 01/09 consisting of 97 packs of Beef 52 packs of Chicken 1 pack of Chicken Stew with Dumplings and 9 Weightwatchers packs.Total spent on that lot was £126.16 and with a bit of other shopping earned me 7957 points plus bonus points for using Tesco credit card so that should convert into somewhere in the region of £320+ of deal vouchers.I will sometime get round to adding all the previous packs including one batch of 408 so all in all should receive a tidy sum of vouchers in November.
But why do I feel this is all too good to be true?never chew the umbilical cord!!0 -
Have jumped straight to last thread to report my disappointing failure to enter the Beef in Gravy Hall of Fame. Phoned around 5 local-ish Tesco stores yesterday and today to track and order Beef in Gravy. All out of stock yesterday(or so I was told, and saw in the two I visited). Stock expected o/n in Newmarket and Cambridge/Newmarket Road. This morning, a Newmarket store manager advised that the offer was now Withdrawn, even though they had received new stock. Further questioning revealed that it was a centrally controlled decision, applied earlier today, but, until then, no store had mentioned this. I asked how they stood legally on an offer with a known and printed closing date. He was unsure, but reiterated that it had happened. Did this happen to anyone else? By rights, as he described it, it should have been standard all over the country. Shall now go back and read other's happier(I hope)ventures - B.CAP[UK]for FREE EXPERT DEBT &BUDGET HELP:

saver123 wrote:I too have been buying quite a lot of extra birdseye beef etc for the extra points. Just going to the various tescos in my area and buying them at the till in the normal way in small quantities each time over the last 3 - 4 days (not bulk ordering at customer services). Managed to buy over 200 boxes, without question at the tills. I have just looked at my clubcard account online at tesco . com and I am missing over 8400 points from yesterday! i.e. yesterdays online clubcard points balance has decreased! i have emailed tesco for an explanation.
will let you know the response in due course.
is anyone else missing points from their account?
I have found my missing points. My wife's clubcard is linked to mine (well it was!). Noticed that her points balance was different to mine yesterday on her receipt. Phoned Tesco CS and they apologised and said they did not know how they became "un-linked" but they will link them up again straight away. Just checked clubcard points balance online and it is back up again for my card (including my wife's linked balance too).
2/9/05 balance 14229
3/9/05 balance 5766
6/9/05 balance 14546
got last 3 beef at Tesco tonight at 11pm and while there was no sign up, still got 150 points on the receipt.
So, thats a total of 234 boxes for this campaign! £152.10 spent = extra 11700 points = extra £468 in deals.
Thanks Tesco!!!0 -
I had 9 delivered today, and 3 Roast beef dinners (For Mother-in-law)
Bye bye Beef and hopefully hello something else soon.0 -

when was this? no signs up, and no beef but i bought the stew with dumplings at around half five and got points (beef would have been nicer, but i'm happy to spend £4.17 for £6 in deals), then bought more at 7pm and got the points again. they had taken the extra points sign down and had an out of stock notice for the beef shelf, but had filled it with the larger packs instead, hmmm .... i did want the beef but i contented myself by buying a pair of shoes, using a clothing voucher to save £4 when spending £20 (those ones we all got ages ago) and also a 500 points voucher that came in my clubcard mailing for a spend of £15 on footwear. baby was crying so i went to the checkout asnd paid, then tried the shoes on while i was feeding him. they didn't fit so i returned them, full refund so effectively the £4 off voucher paid for my dumplings - i also got to keep the 500 points52% tight0 -
Our little Tesco store in town didn't have the 114g 65p portion of BIG to start with but when the offer came out in the papers etc they started stocking it and there was no signs up about max purchase amounts or anything per visit. I just bought a couple though as still pondering over whether I'll be able to use the points. May get something from MFI with my points eventually.“Ordinary riches can be stolen, real riches cannot. Newmarket Rd haven't had any BIG since I cleared them out (of all 9 of them  ) at the beginning of it. Didn't have much luck at any of the other local stores either. I smelt something fishy (always dodgy when you're cooking beef) too!

It was my lucky day yesterday! I went to my local Tesco Extra which has a limit of 5 per person. I spotted about 30 in the freezer and was in the process of emptying it when one of their guys came over. I thought oh-oh he's going to stop me, but no, he offered me the full packs on his trolley as well!
I ended up buying 297 packs, giving me the final £600 or so worth of deals points I needed for my week in Dubai with the missus and kid!
Thank you very much tesco!
Anyone spotted any other points deals today?Ripin K0
