Must say, AMAZING post. Many thanks, tesco clubcard vouchers are a real eyeopener!! :rotfl: :T

Just been to my local who are prepared to let me order "as many as you like, yes, even 1500 if you want!"

So dilemma time. Has anyone ever actually paid for an entire holiday using these vouchers as I intend to via Cosmos??? I don't want to be lumbered with a load of vouchers that won't be accepted as payment.

    Once again super post :D

  • The last 3 years i have booked with French Life.

I was told by them that i HAD to pay the deposit of £150 with a credit/debit card, and pay the remainder in vouchers.

I have since read the on the Tesco order form, that you can pay the FULL amount in vouchers,so i rang French Life for a price on my 2006 holiday and i asked what the score was. I was told they would take a credit/debit card deposit to secure the booking, but i could pay the FULL amount in vouchers, and when these arrived, they would refund the deposit to the card.

You must have exchanged the clubcard vouchers for the deals vouchers when you make the booking.

I would get the Cosmos brochure to make sure they have the holiday you want.

No I have not yet paid for an entire holiday but that is also what I intend to do (unless I spend at Goldsmiths too) - but the way I look at it - even if the entire of clubcard deals were pulled (v. unlikely) then still not much lost since I can spend the clubcard vouchers that I have on free shopping for years!!! ;)

Very selfish, elitist bunch (flyertalk) from the looks of it... they are waiting for the end of the clubcard 4x deals so as to leave the deals to themselves and would love to see MSErs (who are mostly from ooooop North & unable to spell) out of the picture.

They hate any publicty about these deals as they fear they will find themselves unstuck. I really, really want to see the MSE story in the papers now! :rotfl: :money:

Just read through the thread over there. I find it so ironic that they slate MSE so much, yet there seems to be quite a few of them happy to frequent this site. They are so elitist, they spend their time hunting around for ways to get cheaper flights on BA. :rotfl:

Oh, and for the record for all you FT'ers out there, I am a Londoner living in Suffolk.

:hello: RJB. I know you're reading this. ;)

I think there are a few (who also post here) who are the exception. The Internet is a great way to share information, and whilst some are happy to do that...
