Not beef for us tonight.

Went into Tesco at 3.30 this afternoon and they were reducing all the meat.

Got Organic lamb steaks 3 packs @ 49p a pack. All over £3 originally

Corn fed chicken thighs 40p (2 packs) were £2.99

Frying steak.. It was Brazilian but looks good. 3 packs of that. 79p a pack
was £3 - £4.50.

5 other packs of assorted meats.

Couldn't buy any Birds eye beef as my freezer is overflowing!

My husband doesn't like me buying reduced stuff so don't usually tell him! But he came to help me pack and said to the cashier. I'm vegetarian.

She was laughing and the bloke behind joined in the conversation too.

Made shopping pleasant especially when she took 2 £1 vouchers. !!

Don't know if it's already been posted (quite new here) but Tesco have another new club - the food club to add to the list (healthy living , wine etc). Easy to sign up for it on their site. Just joined so will wait and see what's on offer! :j

Well I'm new to here but I started buying beef when the offer started as I'm always on the look out for offers like this.
My points total is now up to 47,836 = £1913 in deals

I first ordered 2 x 300 beef from one tesco who then phoned me up to say the manager would only let me order one lot of 150 which I had.Pooh I thought.

So I ordered 600 from another store which I've had and ordered another 4000.My orders for these have not been cancelled yet and was told there was no problem.We shall see,perhaps the beef mountain is going down fast with so many buying.

I've also picked up 200 or so from the freezers while shopping but by the time I go after work the cabinets are usually empty and no stock left out the back.Oh well hope my 4000 comes off.

Clubcard points so far this year have paid for a £1600 Cosmos holiday and a £1000 French Life holiday.Exellent I say,but my partner is most embarrased about my buying habits!!!

I went to a local freezer centre who has agreed to buy them, my chest freezer has 300 in out of there boxes and it's rammed.

That's a new idea.. ie a freezer centre buying from you and you buying from Tesco.
