Savings girl. Hope you kept all your Tesco receipts to get the points added on.

If you can't find clubcard another time get a temporary cardboard one from checkouts and then get the points added from that.

Just logged on to my tesco's account and notice some points (25%) have been taken off - assume this is for the August mailing and not for being a bad boy beef addict!

yea candlestick i just done the same thing and £51 worth of points have been taken off.
still have more than that left so got to wait till the next mailing in november now.
got another 18 boxes of beef today and a bit shopping for another 921 points

Wow on the points total. I've only just started doing the beef thing (thanks OP) but I actually like the beef (at the moment) - it's the gravy that seems a bit dodgy.

We had beef for dinner last night with yorkshire pudds and potatoes. But I don't like the gravy either. Not like mother makes!

Just make a jug of bisto or whatever gravy you like and add some over the Bird's Eye stuff

I add carrot, onion and Bisto to the beef and heat it all in a pan. Much nicer.

Not sure if this has already been covered but I was delving in to tesco site and noticed that you can get extra points by recycling your old mobile phone and printer cartridges !!
My printer only takes small cartridges and I secure them for around £1 each on Ebay so the idea of tesco rewarding you with 50 points every one u send them seems pretty darn good...especially for deals.

Made a really tasty stiry fry last nice; added tomato puree, tabasco (free pizza tabasco!), veggies, brown sugar and soy sauce to the beef in gravy.

Even OH didn't moan that we were having beef again.

Is there a recipe thread anywhere for the beef? Would it be worth starting one? I know I'm getting a bit thin on ideas on how to cook it.:cool:
