I bought 9 today in Leyland, but the cashier only charged me for 6. Can you imagine the odd look I got when I went to CS and told them I'd been UNDERcharged??!! :rotfl:0

But i assumed the original post was done in July, and i only spotted it about a week ago,so could anybody tell me the original poster, and which month are they eligable for "post of the month" ?
As I recall the original "find" didn't actually come from here but was spotted on another forum altogether and copied across. Not sure that counts as a 'post of the month' contender, IMHO of course.0 -

What type of store were you in? If it was an express or a metro they do not stock the full range that you get in an extra or 'normal' store.0 -
My order for 300 has been cancelled.
I had a phone call at home when i was in work last night, and my wife took a message.
I will ring them and ask why.Sponsored by Tesco Clubcard Points !!0 -
I tried to order just under 200 from my local store, they said no problem but you'll only receive offers/points on the first 50!!! So therefore I have to go over 4 days to collect 48 a day to make the most of the offer!DS 17 years

Why on earth would this happen? Other posters have ordered and received points on much more than 50
Sound like another case of individuals at Tesco making it up as they go along!
What would stop them putting them through in four separate transactions? You're not limited to how many points you can collect in one day AFAIK.0 -

I believe I was the first person to spot this offer on the beef.
I was buying another load of burgers in a not so local store and spotted the beef offer in the freezer.
Tried it out for myself...it worked, so I grabbed a few more, went to the homeless shelter to drop of my burgers, then came straight on here to share the good fortune.
A few posts after mine cpjackso, whether prompted by my spot or not, I don't know, went to flyertalk to get the rest of the list of deals for Birds Eye so that people may actually buy a range of food to eat probably.
If you go back and read the posts it may change your recollection.;)Who made hogs and dogs and frogs?

It's a Tesco Extra.....
I couldn't even order online as my postcode was showing as not being able to be delivered to...but the Tesco van visits my neighbour all the time! Have to say....I did wonder why?
Turns out that my details should have been updated when the last new store was built as it's closed to me, so I'll go try ordering online today.Herman - MP for all!0 -

I had a nightmare when I collected my order. It could have been the biggest case of undercharging I'd known at Tesco.... the till operator accidentally put through 114 packs instead of the actual 1104 I had. I only noticed this when checking the points gained. I feared that there was some limit that had kicked in, but then I noticed I'd paid only £75 ish.
I paid for the other 990 but to my horror when I read my reciept it said sign up for a clubcard, you could have earned 50000 (ish) points on this transaction. Arghh I hadn;t handed over my clubcard for the second transaction. I had to go to customer services to get the points added (after checking no less than 3 times that they would defintely add the points).0 -
Frustrating that they wouldn't do a bigger order for me, but as this is my only Tescos store in an hours radius(live in the country!) I didn't have much choice/neither did I want to make too much of a big deal. They were terribly shocked by me placing the order anyway!!! I was hoping to visit the store many times, but for 200 at a time! I'll just have to clear the very small shelf of b in g daily as well and get my 50 order. Thanks for all your fabulous help.DS 17 years
