@the original poster,...name and shame this dishonourable outfit! The salesperson clearly pulled a fast one. And if they didnt intend to do so, they are harldy reputable for being unclear with such a large sum. They clearly have no merits, be it a small or large chain of shops. They should have at least refunded some of the value, fairly speaking and just kept a nominal amount to cover the chargeback since it is a large amount they would have been stung with some kind of retailer credit card charge...
Shame this situation, but its been quite some time since the original purchase....think a little more awareness is required when buying goods especially of such a high value, and always grab an information leaflet that has the store policy details on it and if they cant provide the info, dont shop there...
@daveboy,
You really are a muppet mate....cant believe the amount of time you spend on this site just picking at people...you really must have a very, very poor sad bitter and small lifestyle if this is the way you choose to spend your time.
Really...you are a complete and utter useless unhelpful moron over these forums who I probably many others would be very happy to see kicked of this site....

I hardly think answering rudeness with rudeness is the way to engender a harmonious discussion, is it?0
