So is that an admission that you maybe don't actually need to be spending on her? And that you're going to stop?

Well....Its not like I spend a lot ( I don't have a lot) but yes what I do have, the odd £ here and there will stop, ok? ;) So does that mean the sand pit I was thinking about buying I can't......The last one came off freecycle and cost nadda...have asked again but none going. She does love it...see im trying to justify spending the money again....heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeellllllllpppp

Well she's hardly being teased much then is she? A significant fraction of children that age can't talk properly...

Got lots of stuff finishing on ebay this weekend and sold 2 books on amazon out of the blue (been on there for over a month and had forgotten about them)
Here's to getting my debt paid off finally and to stop spending when I don't need to ....bored, depressed, etc etc

Well I thought I would get a good amount from Stuff on ebay this weekend but a bit disappointed to be honest. Wonder if Ive just been unlucky or whether people just aren't spending at the moment.
Anyway made enough to put a bit into the debt pot, along with the 2 books I sold on amazon...should amount to about £50.
Haven't really spent any money this weekend, other than food which is budgeted for. Went swimming tonight which was £4 but think thats all Ive spent all weekend.
Right another week starts tomorrow and have got some extra hours at work this week...it all helps I guess!

Emotional spending is definately my crutch so to speak...that and eating grrrr why does it have to be like this! Its funny how you alter your spending once you have a child, I hardly buy at all for me now, always DD.
I work in a very lovely Baby Shop 3 afternoons a week and every other saturday. I've always loved to have jobs that stretched me mentally but now I just love being able to go to work and then come home. My Boss is fab and because its an independant little place Im on my own with free reigns over the place. DD goes to Nursery and I get my time but like you said I try and keep busy and do nice things with her when we are together.
As for cycling, we love it.!!! We sold our car to cut costs and have been cycling everywhere since September...been chilly but suprisingly haven't got wet on many occasions. Have been on the bike non stop this week to keep costs down and DD loves it.
Where do you live (south west)?
Right off to see if there is a party tonight! :T

    Hi,

I can only get online whilst I'm at work - mon/tues/fri. I live just outside Southampton, Totton. I'm often down in Dorset, visiting my Nan, she lives in Poole. And I've met up with another MSE'r who lives nr Christchurch.

I'd love to work in a baby shop, would get me really broody tho! Do you get to play with prams?

    Hey Tigzem
Ah your quite local then, Poole is only 30 mins from me. Yes working in a baby shop does make me broody everyday! Its lovely to see all the little babies that come in and coo over them...equally nice to know that I won't have to be up in the night feeding! Would love another baby at some point..maybe once im Debt free!

Well finally got all my Ebay money from the weekend in and made £65 so quite pleased. So that with the £20 from Amazon makes a good week and can go into to the debt pot. Although have just got a mail from ebay so say that they are changing their fees, generally will cost more to sell...grrrrr
This week seems to be going so fast, been doing loads of extra hours, good for the money but feels like ive hardly seen my beautiful DD...feel sad about this!
Got to take her to the Eye hospital tomorrow, never look forward to this as having the drops in her eyes is pure torture..she screams and its all rather traumatic for us both. Hopefully tomorrows trip won't be too bad!
I know its not very DFW but I joined Weight watchers last night. Decided that I would use the money out of our generous food budget and get my !!!! in gear. I know that I will feel so much better about myself and life if I can just shift this last stone.
Ok I've waffled enough, going to catch up on how everyone else is going

Good Day today, took DD for a lovely walk this morning and we collected lots of bits and pieces for her to make a collage (sp). Had to take her to the eye hospital for her appt this afternoon...we were there for 2 hours! Anyway she has got a new prescription for some new glasses so will look forward to going to choose a new pair for her tomorrow. Only spent £1 on parking today so pleased with a very low spend day.
Work all day tomorrow, must go and make something for lunch, don't want to end up spending money on rubbish

Hey hon - just saw your ebay profit - well done!: ) glad you got through the eye hospital app - hope it was too traumatic.

William has a nice new trick - shouts shut up at his sister at every opportunity - and I wanted him to start talking????

    Hope all is good
