If you did the Hertforshire schools application online then you can make changes online. I'm not sure if you have missed the deadline for making changes. When we sold our last house (I'm in hertfordshire) our first set of buyers were adamant we had to complete by a date in October to use our address for their school application. If this is the case, it would be worth writing to the schools to tell them that you are actually now living at a different address.

I'm so pleased for you and the twins, MOT. Last week I would never have thought that your tale would reach this wonderful conclusion. The house sounds amazing, and the nice anonymous landlord seems to be offering you the security that you need - as well as a nice affordable, spacious property.

I have my own housing dilemma and after following your journey, I can console myself that I should be truely grateful to have a roof over my head.

I joined this forum in October and I've been thinking about you and checking your threads nearly every day since. I'm a bit shy when it comes to posting on forums which is why I've never posted before but when I read your latest news I had to congratulate you.

What brilliant news MOT!!! Like I think I said many posts ago... what goes around comes around. This Landlord sounds like an amazing and generous person, to offer you and the twins some security and stability at last.

This will definitely be a fresh new start for you all. And like you say, the less you have to deal with DBC the better!!!!
