Well trust you to be first in line. ;o)

I think, MOT that you will have to draw up a waiting list for the spare room (assuming you choose the 4 br house).

So, you may as well add me to it. !

Two wonderful sounding houses!! That's just perfect to have a choice.

I don't know HH at all but I know SA a little (when I left home I was lucky enough to rent a room in Harpenden - couldn't afford to rent a garage in Harpenden these days!!) and I know that SA is really nice and the schools are very good too. 12 months would seem a little more certainty too. Just another opinion. However, having said that, I'd probably find myself wanting to go for the one in HH on the description of the house because it sounds lovely.

EDIT: Just read out your description to my DH. Having read it to him and therefore read it again I totally go back on what I just said! I'd DEFINITELY go for the one in HH - it sounds lovely!

Sounds to me like you have the perfect choice. Just as well you have I-T to help you to decide. I don't envy him!

Fantabulous news MOT, IT and Twins.

Keep us informed of the date for the virtual or otherwise party....and count me in as a booking for the spare room (I realise there's a waiting list) !!

    Much love

    HI MOT
sending you a pm..i am not nosey just inquisitive :rotfl:
really glad that things are starting to look up for you and like everyone else i know which one i would choose, in my opinion it would not be a 'spare' room but more of a shoe closet!!
i would but some champers for the vitual housewarming but at the age of 29 ( i dont admit this often) i clearly dont look old enough to buy alcohol and get asked for od by a spotty kid who looked about 12!! :D

I've never posted on your thread but I've followed your threads for the past couple of months. It finally sounds like things are working out for you and I'm so pleased.

Good luck with whichever house you choose and heres to lots and lots of happy year with the twins and IT.

  • Hi MOT

    What great exciting news!

The 4 bed detached sounds great with all the perks and no CT etc, but what is that area like for the secondary schools? You say the other is in the catchment area for the best school..is this one?

You will make the correct decision. Good luck to you hun.
