Mot, IT and twins,
I am so pleased about this offer. When I came round for tea and buns I said that everything happens for a reason and that really you didn't want to live on a HH council estate and this has happened. I am so pleased for you, I can't wait for my dinner invitation!

Hi all,
Back from Drs and sore:eek: but have been well looked after by I-T who is also picking twins up from school for me so that I doze on the settee when I have done this and phoned the Education Authority.
I-T LOVED the house!! Don't know when we'll be moving in yet but please have your marigolds are the ready - and muscles too - for those that would like to come and see it!! For those who just would like to come and sit and natter and have a glass of wine then that is fine too:D .
The twins have already bagged their rooms and been 'placing' their things in them too. The only thing I seem to need to complete our home is curtains so will be off to the Charity shops to see what I can get.
I-T has to do a review on a play at a theatre locally tonight so I'm in for a sideways sitting evening watching this play:rotfl: :rotfl: due to not to being able to sit striaght cos of wound:o . I-T sister is sitting with the twins whilst we are out which she is looking forward to as they all get on so well together.
Be back later when I've had a nap xxChristians Against Poverty - www.capuk.org0 -

Does this mean that you are taking the house ? I hope so as it all sounds perfect. When we first moved into our house we pinned sleeping bags at the windows till we could afford curtains. Make do with what you have if you cant find any or pm me the sizes and I'll have root under me bed ( drawers full of stuff ). I know I have some lovely pale bluey/pinky florals ( 2 pair ) in there with tie backs not too sure of sizes tho' will check if you need them.0 -
I have quite a few pairs of marigolds, and some mega-strong ones which are too big and flap on my paws. I also have an unopened bottle Star-drops
let me know where & when.
Try Freecycle for curtains, or PM me your measurements (ooh er) and and I'll have a gander at our Freecycle (St Albans one- which is dead posh)
Oh, and what play is it? Where?0 -

When I moved into the cottage I bought all the curtain rails from Ikea - really cheap - and I used a navy fleecy throw (£2.49 from Ikea) pegged onto the rail as a curtain for A's room it looked really good so could probably do that again. I still have the curtains and rails from before but they won't fit these windows so may just utilise them to 'dress the window' and get a cheap blind from Argos to actually blackout the light.
