Good morning MOT, I know you are an early riser just like me, so I am just dropping by and having a virtual chin-wag and coffee with you.
    Hi Chrissie! (and everyone else)

Sorry slept in this morning :T actually did wake at 6.40am but managed to go off again til 9 ish! Just taken twins to the pool again - and they wonder why their skin needs moisturising:rolleyes: !! Roast Lamb for lunch today then we're all going to spend the afternoon watching 'Pay it Forward' with tissue boxes at the ready:rotfl: .

Its a lovely day here again and Steve Wright's Sunday Love Songs are playing on the stereo downstairs - perfect for old romantics like me ;)

Dreamt about houses again last night! I have a good reason now to chase tenancy agreement as received a letter yesterday from the Education Authority saying it is too late to change the list of schools I chose for the twins and although The Hemel School was my 3rd choice (oversubscribed and didn't expect to get them in) even though we will be 2 mins walk from the school it doesn't automatically mean we will get places there. They want to see signed tenancy agreement and then will put the twins on 'the waiting list'!! We find out which school they have been allocated on March 1st - so not too long to wait now.

Hope you all have a lovely day - what are you up to?

Morning Mot, sounds like your twins love swimming :) Fingers crossed you get the school of your choice.
I'm waiting for my bread rolls to prove then I can put them in the oven so we can have them for lunch with the soup I've made.I've stripped all the beds ans changed them.Washing in machine now.Hopefully the frost will lift and the sunwill come out and I can get them on the line.
My dd should be back from her dads sometime soon.We have no strict rules. If she wants to stay longer then thats fine with both of us.i never do anything ona Sunday anyway so nothing spoiling. My ds is at Army cadet camp again! was away last weekend too.He will come back about 4pm very dirty and tired. We all have early baths on a Sunday and settle downwith a film before bed.It nicely ends the week usually before school in the morning but our half terms just started so no school this week.I plan to make pizza this afternoon so we can eat it with the film :)

    What have you got planned?

Well, picked twins up at 12.30pm from pool - I arrived early so sat in the sunshine having a natter on mobile to Wol2 to catch up with her news. Fliss has showered and about to dry her hair and A in the shower now. I'm just waiting for roasties and parsnips to cook in the oven then we'll be ready to eat. After that we'll watch the film - hope I can stay awake!!!!

OMG - I've never had an empty ironing basket! If it needs ironing in this house it tends not to get worn! Heaven knows what I'll do when DS starts school!

    Glad you're feeling happier.

    xx
My ironing basket is no longer empty ;);)

Morning MOT, glad to catch up on the news..

Bad luck about the toe, hope it isn't too painful, but good news about the car, the bill not being £300 like you were expecting.

Whats on your list to do today then?

Does that mean you can start on mine now then?;) :D:D

We've got the joy of clearing out the spare room today. My daughter is now 5 months old - and it is high time she went into her own room, so we need to paint it for her. Part of the reason she has to go in is that she GROWLS when she wakes up! She doesn't cry (never has really thank heavens) but she sounds like a tiger when she wakes up in the morning (or during the night). It has to stop :D .

    Have a good day today

    xx

    Hi all,

Have negotiated awful road works to get twins to school - left early at 7.55am and went the 'country route' to avoid r/wks and arrived at school at 8.28am!!! They're not due in til 8.55am :rotfl: . Now done bit washing and vacuuming and about to head off to my friend's house as she is going to colour and highlight my hair properly!! She is a hairdresser and will do a good job - I still have traces of orange in my hair from last time:eek: - its got to go!!
By the time that is done it will time to pick twins up from school and then home again!

I-T gone for an audition today for the part of an Evangelist Preacher (!!) the production company chose him from the agency's books (along with others I daresay) and he has to look a little like the 'Hell, Fire and Brimstone' preacher, Jack Jones, who created a lot of furore a few years ago. He 'googled' this man and found a photo of him and it seems like I-T actually is similar to this man in appearance, so he has gone wearing an outfit like the one in the photo. So fingers crossed!

Still heard nothing about house but there again rewiring hasn't been done yet.

Locutus, your daughter reminds me of A as he used to 'growl' too:rotfl: but definately think you're doing the right thing by getting her room ready for her - at least you'll get some sleep!

    Hi MOT,

Sorry to hear about your toe. Thinking positively I still believe that this will be your year, just possibly not every month. You've been through one hell of a trough, its your turn to have a high. Come March (hopefully) you'll be in your new house, relaxed, looking out over the lovely views thinking how everything seems so right with the world. Oh, and us lot will be having a drink to toast your house warming - real or virtual!
