    I can't believe its only 3 weeks since I had the call from CAP about the new house - it seems to have been ongoing for months:rolleyes: but I guess thats because I have had so much 'waiting' to do for the last 12 months and now we have a positive conclusion within reach. But I still won't believe its going to happen until I have a moving date and the keys in my hand!!

    How about contacting your Council's Community Safety department....they may have a DV advisor who can link the women in with things like Surestart, tenancy support, and other family support..... also Victim Support & maybe a self-defence tutor....and find a man who can demonstrate how to fit bolts & change a lock.

    So pleased to see that the agreement will be ready for March 1st - that's only a couple of weeks, mot - stay strong.
    I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
    If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.
