Thank you, Ampersand.I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

All the credit goes to rog2, jillie - but I knew i-t would enjoy it, too. Post 127 on that Thread isn't bad either.
Thanks Rog for a posting (& Ampersand for re-posting) that reminded me of my visits to the family in Italy. My Great Uncle Gino kept chickens and rabbits, similarly fed and cared for. The eggs were so rich in colour and tasted devine as did the meat of the chickens and rabbits. Mind you, my daughters were very upset when they were told that the rabbit they had just eaten was one of the ones they'd been petting that morning.0 -
Had a really nice card with beautiful words from MOt plus a DVD of one of my favourite movies 'Pay It Forward'. Will no doubt be watching it at the weekend with MOT & the twins as they've never seen it. Box of tissues at the ready. Hope you all had something nice from a loved one - mistery or not. :heart2:0

MOT has asked me to say that she apologises for not posting for a while but she has been busy entertaining the Twins, as it is half term. Today she is going to visit her friends T&D and will cook for them as D is still recovering from her operation. She'll get back to you soon. Oh yes, for those that are waiting with baited breath - no moving date as yet. The house is being rewired and the gas boiler checked out. It will probably be early March.0

Hi everyone!
Who was it that said this was going to be my year???? Come on now own up :rotfl: :rotfl:
Went to T&D's yesterday and.........broke my big toe:eek: :rotfl: :rotfl: I was helping D by vaccuuming the house for her when I accidentally dropped the vac on my foot whilst going downstairs! Blood everywhere and bruising like I'd kicked the sh*t out of someone. Went to see the Nurse at GP's this morning for my stiche removal for the cyst on my back and she confirmed that I have broken my toe!!! So its now all strapped up
.
Car into Citroen also for diagnostic test this am and they have since phoned me to say that it was the fuel injector on cylinder no 4 and that they had one in stock, so its now all repaired and I am £166.99 lighter
off to collect car soon when I-T comes back from collecting twins from swimming. Should be ok to drive back from HH with a broken toe!
Heard nothing about the house this week so will give CAP a call next week to find out if they've heard anything.
Whilst we were at T&D's yesterday we went to see the village panto - Aladdin - it was the first night and was very funny. It was really good to see a community coming together to have an enjoyable evening. The twins were called up onto the stage to sing a song and throughout the whole performance they really got into the swing of things - it was so lovely to watch their faces :j .
Hope you are all ok xxChristians Against Poverty - www.capuk.org0
