Morning. Hope you had a good weekend chick, Its been lovely weather. Thinking of you all. Been working in my new job. Its good to feel a little more settled with some money coming in now. I should be able to get together a deposit and a months rent in advance by end of march. So am looking round again now for my own place. Will get somewhere big enough to share with another nurse hopefully. That should cut the cost of my outgoings. And its going to be a man free house for the forseeable future. Just want to see you and the twins settled now. x x x x x xNight Owl Member No 1 :rotfl: :rotfl:

Morning all!
Binnie - no I-T will stay living in his house this way we can both still retain some 'freedom' - meant in the nicest possible way!:rotfl:
The weekend was really good, got to the hotel on Friday night about 9pm checked in and then headed off to the bar for a couple of drinks then bed as up early the next morning at 7am.
I-T and the other contestants left by coach at 8.10am with us, Family and Friends, following an hour later.
The Contestants were well looked after with tea and coffee available freely all day, us F&F had to pay £1.70 for a plastic cup of mediocre coffee:eek: . Contestants had sandwiches and jacket potoaes provided at lunchtime with lasagne and cheesecake and the like at tea time. Us F&F...........sandwiches and JP at lunchtime for extortionate prices with the same at tea time!!! So by the time we got back to hotel at 10.30pm we were starving and ordered in a pizza which arrived at 11.30pm!
But it was a good day, each time we went back in after recording a show (did 3 in all) the studio crew had music playing and we were all dancing - really got us in the mood! Some of the questions you knew, some you thought I know this but do I take the risk? and others well....no chance!
There were 5 lucky contestants that got through - 3 men who didn't win anything and 2 women - one won just under £60,000 and the other who won £61,000!!!!:T :T I cried when the first woman won as I was so happy for her!
The crew were great - very kind, funny and organised and we, as audience members, had as much fun as the contestants - would definately do it again even though it was a very long day.
Got back in time yesterday to take I-T's Dad out for lunch as it was his 93rd birthday, had a lovely meal and he cried when the restaurant owner presented him with a homemade birthday cake - it was so lovely! then I picked twins up and we went back to Dad's where he made spaghetti for the twins and we played cards until 10.30pm. He had a lovely day and we were completely cream crackered:rolleyes: !
Hope today brings good news for my car as it has been going on for too long now.Christians Against Poverty - www.capuk.org0 -
Well done booboo with the new job - is it nursing too? I do hope that you manage to find somewhere that you can live and be settled and happy too xxsmashedbooboo wrote: »Morning. Yes it is. I renewed my registration six weeks ago after being out of nursing for a couple of years. Left it when i split from ex hubby. Could not cope at the time. I have to say though it was your thread that spurred me on into getting my act together again. I needed to break the downward spiral i was in. And now being away from where i was living has let me focus on things that need to be done. My heart is still not in a good place but that im sure will follow up the rear as things get better in other places of my life. I am quite sure that without this site i would not be on the up. And its all thanks to the fantastic friendship and support here. x x x xNight Owl Member No 1 :rotfl: :rotfl:
