Hi there, i'm trying to reclaim my ppi from egg on the grounds that it was a single based premium, and i was in a fully secure job in the civil service and didn't need the cover. Thanks for the help on here

I wrote 2 simple letters one to Capital one and one to Egg

Capital has replied with an offer totalling approx. £480 ( I did not have a big balance)

So I imagine that dunstonh's view of a de minimus before looking too deep came into play.

Egg have not responded No doubt I need to write another letter.

Now to write a few more 10 line letters and see what responses I get.
