Was it his 5th meal deal since 29/1? or even from 1/2? Might be that new month came and went back to 0
Nope, we thought that, but it updated ok on Friday which was 1/2. It's reset some time between Friday lunchtime and today's lunchtime. The annoying thing is that there are a couple of other people in our office who also get the meal deal regularly but they're both on paternity leave at the moment so we can't check if it's just us or if it's everyone.0 -
I have given my OH a list of combinations of products and which vouchers to use for Valentine's day or Mother's day. The P&P gift set was on it - not much use if they haven't got any in store:rotfl: which till did you use for the Sanctuary products?
Unfortunately the photo SA went and checked with the other SA as the products just came up as a total of £20, no till beeps though.
The most helpful SA's seem to be the lady who often works on the fragrance counter and the girl from the Benefits cosmetics counter, she's often on the fragrance counter too. She's very bubbly and bouncy, I'm sure you'll know who I mean, she has pointed out bargains and glitches to me several times and I've overheard her telling other customers too. I think I'll take my Sanctuary purchases downstairs to her next time.
My guess is that they will get the P&P sets in for Mothers Day, if they haven't already got them....0 -
ALL glitches, offers etc are on the first post.
And yes you may want to see what that person bought in the transaction and how they used vouchers but if you take a took most have a little link to the OPs post.
I never in the 15 months on this thread have heard anybody moaning about the chat until NOW.
last year the thread got closed because of the chat but that was more to do with chat about other things and not boots related chat on the boots threadThose we love don't go away,They walk beside us every day,Unseen, unheard, but always near,

How can I learn about a women's refuge in my area or where to leave a shoe box of treats? Could I leave one at a charity shop? TIA
Hi
I have just googled women's refuge and my area and it brought up local address etc. Also brings up a national helpline etc so we could maybe ring that and ask where they would like our donations to be sent.
Being thinking about this and could kick myself has in my local store had shower gel, body lotion etc and next to nothing would have gone in my box. Will look out on next visit to Boots and make up for it:o0 -
Another place to donate nappies or any toiletries to is your local women's refuge. Just do a google search for "women's refuge" and name of your nearest town. Our local one have been very grateful for donations of toiletries in the past. They have an office, separate to the refuge address, where you can drop things off. Women (and children) turn up at these places sometimes with nothing so they are grateful for basic items.
Thank you, its a very good idea, and you know i never thought of it, so this is the place i shall go add my extras i do not need! and its in a good cause.
Bless you kippygirl!0 -

I have seen a couple of SAs upstairs one of them looks quite fierce (in fact I think I had a disagreement with her a few years ago about something I took back cos it was broken). The one who served me last time I was there was OK but it all went through OK and the till didn't beep. I didn't really shop much before in Boots (am making up for it now though:rotfl: ) so am learning which SAs to go to. maybe I will try it just to see if it goes through with a different SA:Dsaving for ds2's summer international scout camp - £200

When 90% sale was on here...prospect centre Hull. I was in 8am and off doing my shopping. Noticed a SA upstairs with a trolley and in her hand was the No7 compact which originally sold at £16. On trolley were a few more I thought right I'm going to stalk her and see where she dumps these and grab a couple for presents. She went straight into the office with them.......I loitered and looked busy etc and waited for her to come out which she did eventually emptyhanded:mad: . basically they were in the office for the staff at a nice price of £1.60. Suppose they have to have their perks.
Well do you know Ruby, if she was caught by a head office official she would be in way to much trouble than it was worth, as in working hours they are not allowed to do this. Good job i am young, i can see when i get into my 60s onwards i am going to be shopping alot of SA's for breaking the rules!!! can you see me with my boots pink brolly waving it about saying its just not right that, its not justice!!!!0 -
kippygirl that was kinda like the botanics glitch where you bought the soap for 99p and got a £6.99/£8.99 moisturiser free! Was great and im still working through the mountain of soaps and still have a mountain of moisturisers too!! :T
and the one where you got 100 pts for a 79p mouthwash that was on 342 so you got 3 for £1.58 but 300pts for some reason - I love Boots so much when they do their glitches.
My tiny local store has (yesterday) reduced all Soltan products, the pouches of kids suncream (great for school) were down to 70p each but all Soltan is on bogof, so well worth a look, appears they are changing the packaging again:eek: , more money than sense me thinks!0 -
