But just as previously it cost me £6.79.
Still got 400 points but how on earth are you (lucky people) getting it for £1.70 I will never know.0 -

Tried the No 17 glitch -
At the ACM machine I had a voucher for 2 eyeshadow pots normally £2.79 each - 2 for £5 thought great! Chose 2 and the free lip palette on offer with No 17 purchase and the 100 points from magazine - another SA wouldnt allow me to do this - Is that right??? I had spent £5 on the No 17 products so should of be able to had the free gift as there was nothing stating this on the ACM voucher - I handed it all back to her and said I didnt want any of it! She was definately not going to let me have it and tried charging me £5.78 (I know its only 78p but its the principle!) LOL

Just do what I did and call the advantage card helpline and tell them that you spent £5 on 17 and handed over your 100 points voucher but the points haven't been added. They added them for me. In fact they added 200 by mistake!0 -
Hi everyone...just a quick question, should I be able to get a No7 makeup brush with the £5 off vouchers? I have done in years past...but its been a year since Ive been 'bootsing', so dont want to make any mistakes and draw attention to myself! Im planning on getting a no7 makeup brush Ive seen which is about a tenner, and some illuminating powder, which I'll use the mag voucher with, and ofcourse the £5 no7 voucher, and hoping for gwp aswell. Any thoughts on whether this will go through alright?
Im actually a little nervous as its been so long since Ive taken advantage of any glitches...how silly to be nervous of shopping!!!0 -

Gotta say, though, I did wonder if it was all worth it in a shop in Manchester this morning. I went in incognito, and I came out with the reddest cheeks EVER ! .....
Ah, feel better after that rant. Thanks !:o
Poor you - hope you got some bargains to cheer you up!!:cheesy:0 -
I felt brave today so following advice from here i picked up a magazine (loads in hayle) took out the voucher for powder and picked up some p+p serum and my gwp and it all went through great! but no q10 (none in helston either, will try truro tomorrow!)
thank you everyone!:beer:0 -
Still catching up on all the new posts, so apologies if this has now been asked, but I've got a feeling that the Mother's Day P&P gift set isn't quite the bargain we all thought it was: someone posted a link to it on the Boots website (showing as out of stock) and it lists the contents. The P&P serum is only 15ml I think. the full-sized one is £16.75 for 30ml. I think it's probably still a good buy, and would make a lovely Mother's day gift (if only my DH or DSs read this thread!!) but I'm not quite so excited about it now. Thanks for posting that there are no vouchers in it, too, that's useful to know.0

I don't know how the tills know the difference but they are clever enough to do it.
And a clever till nearly stopped me getting the Free Loreal handbag thing today - I had spent over £15 on loreal but tried to redeem points and it said I did not qualify for the gift if paying with points so I started again and paid with cash instead !
That never used to happen - you could always get a free GWP with points redemptions in the past. Hope it just affects the l'oreal promotion only.
I used points to get the Sanctuary Spa GWP today:j I love bargains:jI love MSE0 -

I ordered on the first morning, had the order accepted, then 'being processed', then confirmed by phone, so I felt safe in telling a primary school about the dinosaur sets I had bought as a gift, but the order was then cancelled. Two further orders collapsed, and the dino sets appeared online again twice. I wrote an almost identical letter, with an almost identical reply, but 1000 points.0 -
Had a very fruitful day in Boots Worthing. Managed to be at the clearance section just as the SA was reducing everything. Managed to snap up:
Grand Total £10 to pay. Also got 75 extra points from ACM and issued £5 voucher.
Mostly everything gone by lunchtime but couldn't carry any more. Just managed to be at the right place at the right time. SA said they just wanted to clear the clearance section quickly and she was reducing everything I handed her. Spent ages at checkout as she had to put everything through manually but she was really nice and didn't bat an eyelid as I handed her the No7 Highlighter coupon.:j
Thanks to everyone on this forum for keeping us all up to date with all the glitches/bargains to be had.:T
Wow! Green with envy - you lucky, lucky thing! I had no idea things got sold off for 10p, that's amazing (especially all the clearasil stuff for slightly spotty DS, bless!). Need some No7 colour correcting stuff for green-ness now! Well done, you!:T0
