I went through the whole process - order, checkout etc etc.,and really thought I was getting one ...

.... till I got the dreaded email cancelling it!

    Jx
Sorry about that! So frustrating. I have had every decent item I have managed to checkout with cancelled - all the toys. On one of the orders, I have ended up paying £2.95 postage for some nappy wipes. :(

Well do you know Ruby, if she was caught by a head office official she would be in way to much trouble than it was worth, as in working hours they are not allowed to do this. Good job i am young, i can see when i get into my 60s onwards i am going to be shopping alot of SA's for breaking the rules!!! can you see me with my boots pink brolly waving it about saying its just not right that, its not justice!!!!

 gulp do you work for Boots.

Mind you Shea don't think it was has bad has one poster (sorry can't remember name) mentioned. In their Boots when £5 skincare voucher was on there were no TD wipes on the shelf. Yet when she went to checkout there was a basket on the floor full of them. I think not sure the SA's were using unused vouchers and getting wipes for themselves.

Think this is correct from what I remember....I'll stand corrected;) :o

Just to let you know I emailed Boots to complain about having items cancelled and that 2 gift sets were battered so not suitable to give as gifts. Anyway they replied yesterday and awarded my AC with 1500 points!

I would have much preferred to have received the items I'd ordered (I've had 13 things cancelled up to now) but the points are better than nothing.

If you like I'll copy & paste my complaint (it wasn't very long)?

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: Lol, I bet you wont!! I am 61, and I am just so pleased with the SA's who do let the vouchers/glitches go through.

I still get grief if they dont want to put things through. Believe me, age makes little difference. One perk though and I must admit its a great one. I get 10% of all boots products. Even when paying by points.. Cant think of any other perks, except I now really can make use of all those wrinkly cream.

    Part of the Furniture
Had a very fruitful day in Boots Worthing. Managed to be at the clearance section just as the SA was reducing everything. Managed to snap up:

11 packs of Cucumber Wipes @ 10p each
4 packs of Clearasil wipes @ 20p each
2 bottles of Clearasil cleanser @ 50p each
2 tubs of Boots moisturising cream @ 10p each
4 tubs of Boots Eye Make Up Remover pads @ 10p each
3 tubes of Boots Eye Gel @ 10p each
2 bottles of Boots Eye Up Remover @ 10p each
1 Boots Semi Permanent Hair Colour @ 50p
1 Bottle of Ted Baker Body Lotion @ 50p
Various Lipglosses and Lipsticks (Elizabeth Arden,No 7, No17 and Natural Collection) @ 10p each
    2 No 17 Mascaras @ 10p each
No 7 Xmas Highlighter, Eyeshadow and Xmas Lip Palette @ 10p each
Several Soltan Sun Protection @ 10p each
2 Bottles Rimmel Sun Make Up @ 10p each
3 Packets of Boots Bikini Razors @ 10p each
    3 Crumpler Camera Bags @ 75p each
    2 Prestige pencil Sharpeners @ 10p each
    1 Nivea Sunkissed Sun Moisturiser @ 50p
    1 Vidal Sassoon Hair Tongs/Hair Styler @ £1

I also managed to sneak in 1 No 7 Highlighter which worked with the reduced No 7 items. Pity I only had one voucher.

Grand Total £10 to pay. Also got 75 extra points from ACM and issued £5 voucher.

Mostly everything gone by lunchtime but couldn't carry any more. Just managed to be at the right place at the right time. SA said they just wanted to clear the clearance section quickly and she was reducing everything I handed her. Spent ages at checkout as she had to put everything through manually but she was really nice and didn't bat an eyelid as I handed her the No7 Highlighter coupon.:j

Thanks to everyone on this forum for keeping us all up to date with all the glitches/bargains to be had.:T

Anyone? Maybe it's cause I didn't write in black.

Others have posted that it is against Sanctuary Bathing/Skincare and Mum to be. The exceptions are accessories so the sponges /loofah things/moisture gloves and any of the minis . But as with Boots coupons they are sometimes not programmed into the tills so beep when it is a perfectly valid purchase.

    That would be fab! :T
  • Well I finally managed to find a Nivea q10 Night Cream

    Barcode 4005808812899

But just as previously it cost me £6.79.

Still got 400 points but how on earth are you (lucky people) getting it for £1.70 I will never know.

Thanks twig, couldn't find it on no 7 or when I put perfect and protect in the store search engine - maybe I've got my instock filter on.
