How can I learn about a women's refuge in my area or where to leave a shoe box of treats? Could I leave one at a charity shop? TIA

ask your local police station. They have loads of numbers for different charities. also the childrens hospital for the parents....

Sorry i should have been clearer, I was trying to buy the set along with a body wash that was £5.25 so would have come to £10.25 overall. Perhaps it was because that set had miniature versions of two foot products- were the products in your gift set full sized by any chance? Its madness trying to work out all these boots offers lol

Hiya, Claire, sorry for late reply - logged off last night cos the kids were clamouring for the PC!! See what you mean about your intended purchases now - what a shame for you. I think you're right in assuming that it was because the foot set had miniature products in it, but that seems rather unfair - can't see why they're bothered, so long as you spend £10, but I suppose when you buy the bigger things, you're more likely to have to spend well over £10 as you'd prob have to buy two things. This is what I bought (hope this works, have tried to cut and paste from Boots website!) - the products aren't full sized!

Has anyone else had any issues with the Meal Deal offer? On Friday my best friend bought his 4th Meal Deal since the offer started (using my AC) and the receipt was updated to say so. Then he bought the 5th today but the receipt says he's only bought 1. We only noticed when we'd left the store so I phoned up the helpline but the lady I spoke to wasn't much help and said it might be a problem with my card (even though my points are all ok on the receipt) or the terminal. She said we should talk to the people in store, but I'm not sure they really have the ability to correct the total on my card.

I tried this today (get two Sanctuary GWP by paying the £10 shelf price for one and getting the GWP) and the till bleeped. The SA considered this for a minute or two then trotted off to check with her supervisor who came over, said she couldn't see why not and over-rode the till. So I got two very nice gift sets, 2 x £3 Sanctuary vouchers, used a double points coupon and got a £5 voucher.

You just have to be lucky in your SA I suppose.
I tried this today but it didn't work for me. SA said the sets counted as minis therefore excluded. I politely disagreed and said they were gift sets not single minis but it didn't get me anywhere.
It definitely seems to depend on which SA you get.

No P&P gift sets in Durham yet, No7 SA with clumpy lashes had never heard of them, said maybe they were for larger branches only, Durham Marketplace branch "only" has two floors :rotfl: I will return another day, hoping to treat my mum and get No7 GWP to treat my DD too.

hi, i am very new to bootsing but did my bit with denting tescos profits. I was just wondering if there anyone else down in cornwall who could give me a heads up? I have recently had a baby and don't want to drag her around the county if all bargins are gone, thanks.
    happy shopping

Hello! Not sure whether anyone else has replied to you as I'm still catching up on this thread, but just to say I shop in Glos and Bristol and there is no sale stuff left. There is some clearance stuff but not a lot and it's pretty grotty. So I should think the Cornwall Boots will prob be pretty similar. Good luck anyway!

I have given my OH a list of combinations of products and which vouchers to use for Valentine's day or Mother's day. The P&P gift set was on it - not much use if they haven't got any in store:rotfl: which till did you use for the Sanctuary products?

OOhhh good I haven't used it yet I've put the moisturiser away for DD for when she runs out of her current one. I had 3 x £3 vouchers and went back 3 times to get the current gwp and was running out of ideas as what to buy. On last trip bought the moisturiser only and wanted to see if I could still get gwp whilst using £3 voucher and it worked.....:T :j was rather chuffed with myself lol x
Yes, but now you've got ANOTHER 3 x £3 vouchers from inside the GWPs, so this just goes on and on.....how do you break the cycle? Spend the money on something under £10 so you don't get the GWP? Seems rather sad somehow.....

Awww, I thought I had hatched a cunning plan there :rotfl: I thought it sounded too good to be true.
Still, £6 in vouchers for the first BOGOF isn't a bad haul I guess.
Someone pointed out that they got the GWP when buying Sanctuary skincare, only had a quick look today but I thought the GWP only came with Sanctuary Spa, or am I getting confused here? I usually do....:o

I think the GWP comes with any Sanctuary purchase (actually, revise that - I'm not sure about the pregnancy stuff) - at Boots in Cribbs Causeway the gifts were on the stand with the skincare (white packaging), and on the stand with the orange packaged bath stuff, and on the main Sanctuary stand with all the different bath and body ranges, and then, just for good luck, on a special end of aisle display, with Sanctuary orange packaging bodycare and white packaging skincare! Hope this isn't confusing. When I first got there yesterday I got the last GWP in
the entire shop, from any display, from the skincare stand, but then they restocked them all - phew! I think it's a popular GWP.
