Im going up to Manchester for the first time to visit my sister shes at uni there, and Im planning to visit as many as I can lol theres something great about making a fool of yourself knowing that you'll never see them aagin.

Whats better to go to the Trafford centre or Arndale, because I know my sis 's building is near the Arndale one.

Also another question, is Piccadily station anywhere near Arndale?

    Cheers Guys

    Thanks, that's something I won't do again.

Try taking them back, explain that you didn't realise you wouldn't get the extra points if you paid by points, ask them to refund back to your card and pay with cash. Don't let them tell you they can't refund on face cream, because they tried telling me that, I rang CS to confirm and they said the SA was wrong, its only cosmetics they don't refund on, unless of course you tell them you are allergic to it.

I tried to get 2 together so it would be BOGOF but the till and the supervisor said NO!
You might get lucky if your SA is nice and has an overide key.

I bought foaming scrub and foaming shower gel instead

I think you're right that it wouldn't work. I think it excludes gift packs and this counts as a gift. If I'm brave I'll try it. Thanks for the warning.

Thanks, I'm really glad you recommended it and I'm looking forward to using it with my new reduced foundation lol!

I wish you well with your brush.

I did something stupid yesterday before this good shop. I nipped to my local small Boots quickly whilst on my way somewhere else and had a quick look for the reduced Nivea Q10. There wasn't any but decided to get the full priced stuff for the points. I paid with points (as it's the first time in ages I've bought something without a voucher) but didn't get the 400 points.

Now I assumed afterwards this was because I paid with points and then you don't get them, but thinking now after my shop this morning maybe their till wasn't geared up to giving them.

Can anyone clarify this for me. If you pay with points do you get extra points, or is it only on a cash/card purchase?????

When you pay with points you do not qualify for any advantage points, as you are effectively not spending any cash. HTH

    Hi

There are no vouchers in them. I've bought 3 so far and just opened the box to look inside for you.

If you read my earlier post today you will see that Chester No7 SA's hadn't heard of it either, but they had 40 in their stockroom when they checked the computer. I think it is very new and not really being promoted at the moment. You could always ask them to check their computer. HTH

Thanks for that. Saves me breaking them open. I'll check again on Friday when I'm next in town!

You leave the station and walk down the road ahead until you reach a big square (piccadilly gardens - not really a garden though), continue walking straight ahead and you reach a pedestrian street and you can't miss the arndale on the right. 10 min max walking, if you ask anyone outside the station it might be easier.

If you're like me, check the postcodes on https://www.streetmap.co.uk (station: M60 7RA
arndale: M4 3AQ) and print the map.

My OH tells me the Boots there is huge!! I have never been, though I went to the arndale several times, but was no MSE at the time!!

Glad you had a nice shop in Chester. You must have been the lady one of the nice girls was still talking about at 3pm re the 400 points . I picked up a reduced nivea visage item a pure glow moisturiser and the points didn't go on so went back with the receipt. So you did me a favour there.
Did they put out the protect and perfect gift sets out because when I went in they only had 3 and seemed to be guarding them. Do they have a 30ml protect and perfect serum in because on com it says 15ml?

Did you go to Broughton as well ? They had regenerist packs 75% off but no free gifts. All the the no 7 tan wipes were there but no highlighters out could have asked but scared. They also had some total effects gift sets but the PC voucher kindly donated by another MSer wouldn't go through so left that too.Tried advising the Sa that it didn't work with anything full price or not but no luck.

Thought I'd seen a fellow Bootser a lady with a lime green scarf with lots of Acm print offs is that anyone on here?

If anyone has the 2000 point toothbrush voucher from PC the standard 8500 model is in clearance now. They seem to be consolidating their ranges at the moment.

Going to Manchester Friday and Birmingham any sign of the Q10 in either places?
    Happy shopping everyone
