            Well done:T thanks for keeping us updated, started reading the thread from the begining & saw a post I made about being desperate to be debt free, I am now! Isn't it amazing how much can change in such a short time

One debt remaining. Home improvement loan.0 - 
            Well we will have £8500 (£5000 of that we will get at end of May) for all the things we need. That will need to pay for:
Holiday (new one and just booked) £1300
Garage door £1788 (this is the cheapest of 5 quotes as it needs a whole new frame and we wanted secure storage
Curtains, house clean (as a luxury we had professional cleaners in to clean house as it had been unoccupied for 12 months), diy materials, water softener installation (already had the machine), mail redirection, boiler repair, £1400
Furniture - £249
