Too true, the woring on the DSR don't help either, with more '4's being marked than '5's.

Now we might have the reson why free gallery is being introduced on Monday 19th, to try and cover over the cracks by all those affected by the new F/B ratings.

It's no coincidence that the Free Summer gallery has been announced a few days before the feedback changes take effect.

Maybe Jo Moore has taken up residence within eBay?

Ouch... I'm going from 100% positive to 97.9% positive as I've not sold/listed anything since before christmas and have 1 neutral from someone who didn't bother to contact me to tell me there was a problem.

And as for that buyer's feedback message... well it might as well say "leave your negative feedback here". :rolleyes:

OK, mine has gone down from 100% on ebay UK to 99.8 % on Ebay Aus.

EDIT. MY secondary Id has gone from 99.8% to 100% as my one and only neg was a couple of years back and has fallen out of the equation. All of my others show at 100%.

I am just reading some of the rather angry threads on ebay regarding feedback and came across this 'official' snippet.

It is very unlikely that a Powerseller with a year’s tenure on the site would run amok in this way, so we’ve recognised these sellers’ track records and reliability by giving them protection from negs/ neutrals for 7 days after the transaction. We don’t feel this is appropriate to extend to all sellers.

I don't know if I missed this the first time round or whether the original announcement failed to explain that the 7 day cooling off applied to powersellers only but yet another two tier system. Once again rogue buyers can play havoc with smaller sellers whilst powersellers get a weeks grace. I can imagine a scenario where a buyer can set out to deliberately ruin sellers, smaller sellers will get an instant neg or neutral and my fall foul of the 'lower 5% of sellers' rule whilst the powerseller have a week in which the buyer stands a good chance of getting suspended so will never be able to leave a neg. OK, even a smaller seller will have those negs and neutral removed when the buyer is suspended, but I wouldn't be pleased to have a weeks suspension and lose a weeks business because of this.
