Hi I saw a post about this ISP yesterday but it looks like its been taken off. It looks cheap for any user who are heavy downloaders. 2mb line is only £10 for a limited period. I think there was a referal code in the referal forum. There no download limit. Just want to know if anyone had a good butchers at this, what do you think? I originally was going for plusnet but they download speed for p2p put me off.

Yes, monki_man I was the OP of that thread - and it disappeared overnight.
I have added another one this morning.
Cheers

If it had a referral code if may have been moved to the referrers board, if not, could possibly have been merged with another thread.
Have you checked in all posts made by you Mike, ya should be able to find where it is that way

I've just had a look as well, can't seem to find it anywhere, and I know I saw it yesterday

Hello
I wondered where that thread had gone also?
I don't remember it having a referral code.
I posted in reply to it, and there was nothing 'contentious' at all.
Hope it is just a technical problem, as it concerns me to think that someone has the ability to delete/edit threads without explanation.
Any failed MP's with their fingers on the edit button!!

Thanks, it has definitely gone, and it is not in my list of threads either. I did not post any referral link but I mentioned the referrers board as is permitted.
I have had no PM from a moderator tellling me the reason for its deletion, so my guess is there has perhaps been a problem overnight.
Cheers

It was removed because on every thread you have encouraged people to use links from the referral forum which you stand to benefit from.0

That is absolutely legal under the rules.
Here is the appropriate section :
3. Linking to the referrers board from the main forums if someone posts in the main forums a legitimate way to save money, which at no extra cost would generate them a referral benefit - then they may post their referral link in the referrers section and link to this thread from their post in the main section.
I posted a new offer from e7even which is a legitimate way for people to save money and which at no extra cost would generate a referral benefit (in fact the referral itself generates an additional saving if they use my id).
The rules state that I am allowed to post the referral link in the referrers section (which I have done) and that I can link to the referrers thread from my post in this thread.
My past experience has shown that I am NOT allowed to link to the referrers board (even though the rules say that I can) so I now do not put in a link, I simply state that people can save more money if they read the information in the referrers board. Now it appears that this is forbidden too !
The rules seem very clear to me and it seems overly zealous of you to have done what you did. You deleted a thread without any email or PM.
I do not expect an answer to this just as I never got any response to a very similar issue I queried before - you will probably just pull the thread !
Please read the rules and at least communicate with people before deleting threads out of politeness if nothing else !To infinity and beyond!0 -
To clarify the rules, you are NOT allowed to link to the reffers forum from the main site without permission from a member of the MSE team.
Further clarification can be seen from this post1. Links to companies. If someone is repeatedly linking to one other company/website, then this can be seen as spam even if the link is not a referral link. Sometimes it is difficult to know whether the person doing it has a versted interest (they may even own the site), so if someones posts disproportionately link to one other site (let's be honest, this is currently happening with quidco links), then that will be assumed to be a referral link and they will be asked to stop.
Every report I have seen of this nature have all been pointing towards the same company E7even.
Regarding contacting after posts are removed, I did in fact email you. Generally speaking however, we don't normally contact people if posts are removed. We recieve several hundred reports every week and it is simply not possible.0 -
Be warned they charge £1 per minute for tech support.
Apart from that they have a good offer.
Regards,
