Good Morning Everyone
Cold, dark and damp here. Had to be up early today as the gas and electric ran out  i seem to be chain feeding the bl**dy meter's lately that wasn't a good start to the morning and too top it i had the council inspector round to have a look at my kitchen ceiling which is a nightmare it looks like meringue peaks and needs replacing but the inspector said no we have to do it so that's £300-£400 i have find to replace the ceiling and then i showed him the bathroom artex on the wall is peeling off and it won't except paint anymore so it needs replastering but again he said no it comes under the tenants agreement for redecoration so that's around £300 to do that where i am i going to find that money on carers allowance, Lottery win - Joking no numbers Saturday, Rob a bank - To risky, Sell my body on ebay - :rotfl:.
Sorry for my Monday morning rant, Cup tea and few deep breaths take the dogs for a walk i should o.k by then
Cheers

morning all.
had a bit of a disaster weekend, eldest Ds had friends round all day saturday one stayed for tea, so pizza had to be Ekked out with jacket pots and salad. but dished up the kids took theres through crrash in the kitchen the tray had over balanced and the part of the pizza meant for me and DH went upside down on the floor:mad: so we ended up with beans jacket spuds and salad and the seagulls stuffed themselves on our bit of the pizza sunday morning on the park. sunday night put 2 more trays of those wonderful 'hobnob' biscuits that someone posted the recipe for, got called through to play a game with the kids and forgot. so this morning the birds have burnt offering and the house has a lovely acrid charcoal smell lingering!
have overspent for january so am having a NS week, got to make a couple of cakes before i go to work and am waiting for a text from youngest DD to find out about the afterschool DT ive just recieved a letter about:eek:
hope everyone elses days are going well, hugs for all those who need oneSPC~12 ot 124

Hello all,
Haven't read the thread yet, just a quick post from me.
My life has suddenly got very very hectic - I haven't read the thread since Friday. It will continue this way for the foreseeable future. Oh well, its all money in the bank
I hope you are all well, happy etc.
Just to let you know that OH did get the job - he starts on Wednesday - his employers are coming round here to drop off his new van and mobile phone - so the place has to be SPOTLESS. However I am working today and am out all day tomorrow.
Am working on 2 hours sleep as OH has the lurgy and don't I know about it!
ARGH!!We must all suffer one of two things: the pain of discipline or the pain of regret and disappointment0 -
Afternoon all
Just a quick post whilst I'm having lunch. Have been to Asda, not too bad as I also bought two new bras. Like most women, I have a vague idea what size I am, will try them on later when OH is up.
Bought some barman's friend, very impressed:D .
Have cleaned kitchen, off to clean bathroom floor, then studying, oh joy:sad: .
Glad to say that my best friend who is so skint has finally looked at this website:j . Her ExOH gives her no money at all for her lovely daughter. Have discussed with OH and decided that I will help out where I can when she is at university. I don't see why she should struggle just because her dad is a t****r.
Catch you later :A xxxx0 -
Hi everybody  not been able to post for a few days because I've been run off my feet and only just had a chance to catch up with the thread. Big hugs for hilstep and beemuzed.
OH came home with some soya beans last night (?) I haven't a clue what to do with them - I'm currently sitting here eating some of them with some boiled millet for lunch, but they aren't very inspiring (neither is the millet actually - I now know why my parents budgie is so bad-tempered, so the emergency bar of fruit and nut in my desk might just brought out)
OH and I had a long chat about the future last night and I've bitten the bullet and sent off for the application form for a part-time law diploma. I'm a bit nervous leaving my current field, but at least if I do it part time, I can decide which direction to go in two years down the line.
