Hello everybody,
Beemuzed So sorry to read about the loss of your mother. I hope the upcoming week isn't too hard for you.
Mrs Mix
Well to all those workers, it's been a public holiday over here today. Not that it effects me of course, I work every day.
Helped DD sort out her boxes in the shed this morning. Probably lost 1 stone in perspiration. It was like Sauna City in there. Poisoned the yard. DH practically followed me around in case I got too close to his precious vegetables.
After lunch I made a slice, bread & butter cucumbers & went for a walk rather reluctantly with DH as it was still hot. Found a bowen mango tree overhanging. It just so happened 3 mango's fell off as we walked past. :whistle:Also picked a few more avacado's from the tree in the paddock opposite us which btw needs slashing again.
Tennis was great last night and made good progress on DD dishcloth. I hope you all have a great day. ByeeeeeeeeeeeeeDon't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia.0 -
Good Morning.
Just a quick one. First, Thank you all sooooo much for all the messages and poems I've had. People are so kind.
We are having a post mortem this morning, so hopefully after this afternoon, I can get on with the arrangements for Mamma's funeral.
The weekend has passed in a bit of a blur, but yesterday, I had my sister, her husband, my daughter and fiance, son, partner and Daddy to dinner. It was lovely, there was so much laughter and tears, talking about Mamma, I'm sure she was there with us too.
Gotta go now, but thank you all again.I Believe in saving money!!!:T

Just off to hospital for blood test results, don't expect anything much though. They rang Saturday and said the consultant couldn't see me at 1 pm, here we go I thought, then they said can you make 9.15am. Fine I said. Off Now

Right I'll try again - blimin internet just went down when I hit post:mad:
Was ill on Saturday night, so had to cancel my night out - which is probably good as it stopped me spending money!:D Always look for the bright side!!!
Received an A5 envelope full of used stamps from a colleague's other half. So they can all be donated to charity:T I've recruited both of them into collecting them for me.
Also did a lot of recycling at home, but other than that, just rested.
Hope everyone's okComping, Clicking & Saving for Change0 -

Morning all
non working day today - well like aussie I will be working just not getting paid for it. Have some phone calls to make - dd11 has an appointment with the Education Welfare Officer on Thursday but I need to rearrange that. This is because her attendance is causing concern apparantly. seems that despite the fact that she has constant ear and throat infections and they won't allow her to take her medicine into school we will be in trouble if she doesn't go to school. BTW she is consistently in the top 3 in any tests at school so her work is not suffering. I am keeping an open mind and hoping that her level of attendance has triggered a referral automatically but as a working single parent I'm not likely to keep her off unless I need to. If it comes to it the dr will back me up. ddad also needs some information before he can transfer dd18's inheritance into my account - something about a BIC number - will phone the bank about that.
will catch up with you all later - have a good dayI'm going to feed our children non-organic food and with the money saved take them to the zoo - half man half biscuit 20080 -
Morning all
Very quick post as have to take DS to school in a mo. Have fed birds, need to make some more lard cake. Ds having breakfast. I'm having porridge. Have written long list of things to do, can't do much housework as OH will be in bed today.
Lunch is the rest of the veg soup. Need to make a list of what to grow on allotment and see what seeds I have. Might make chicken pie for tea or take quiche out of freezer.
Catch you later, good luck Haribo with your op :A xxxx0 -

have a good day will try to pop back later0 -
Morning all :hello:
I've not been paying proper attentionI didn't realise Haribo was having an op, good luck hun
Mr tru is back to work today, 45 mins before he's due in he gets a phone call, with staff causing problems AGAIN  They make him manager, then won't let him manage. He has loads of money-making and money-saving ideas for the company but they won't listen then moan that they need to make more money  Between work and his family, I think he might pop. I wouldn't blame him in the slightest if he walked out, in fact I've told him to leave because it's not worth the stress but he worries about money. I have 2 plans of action if he DOES leave, 3 plans if you include the plan I have for himbut I have a feeling he'll hang on in there for now.
It's foggy here too, but I think it's slowly clearing. I'll be out in the garden again and I need to get some washing and ironing done. Also I'll be planning more money-making schemesBulletproof0
