Afternoon ladies - sorry for yesterday's blip in transmission, usual calm Dusty service will now be resuming.

Not actually done any flying yet - hand are just thawing out after being at DS2 footie for the past couple of hours, they lost and played atrosiously (sp).

FIL popping in later so I said to OH to invite him to stay for dinner - nothing posh but he lives on his own so sure somebody else cooking will be appreciated.

DS1 at a friends and DS3 at the recycling machine/dropping stuff off with OH.

Just going to have a cuppa and some chocolate and then empty WM/put yesterdays stuff in the ironing moutain which I shall be scaling this evening. Also need to wrap DS3's presents for tomorrow. Glad the party is out of the way. It was ok, I just don't like other people's kids (I am a horrendous mother really). Still I can enjoy his birthday now knowing there is no party to come.

So when you having it done - are you gonna do one of those ticker countdown things (which I know they dont allow on here)? Can we have a before and after pic please?? Even if its just the back 'cos I am sure you said its really long.

Afternoon all

One load of washing done (only one load today!) and draped round indoors. They forecast rain, it hasn't rained much but it's dull and a very cold wind.

Dusted living room and vacuumed right through downstairs.

Prepared cottage pie for tea, just have to turn the oven on later.

That's about it.

I'm there at 5:30pm on Friday.. so if they make a really badjob of it I won't be able to go out.. and if it looks fab I won't need to wash it before I go out!! .. good yeah?

Hello, been out and about this morning, finally got the paint to do one wall in our bedroom, might start that this week. Both me and DS are all bunged up with cold so feel a bit grotty. WM been on twice, one lot already dried outside, cottage pie meat in SC for tea.

Skintscotlass - thanks for the phone tip, I once dropped another phone down the loo and it dried out fine. The outside screen had been cracked so I think that killed it, the spot is still white underneath. To be honest I think its because DS has salt baths cos of his skin so its just knackard it as well as drowning it. Thanks though xx

JillD - think LJD1 is back, prehaps she pm you. Gggrrrr aboutthe godparents, my sister has no children and a house like that but is fab when we go round.

Tori - thanks he got back fine, hes been ski-ing so thinks its quite warm here LOL. The weathers not been too bad here today and yesterday, he landed at East Midlands airport so normally its okay there (middle of country). LOL at the QT *wink* My pushchair should arrive tomorrow!

I survived the shops, and i need some flylady wisdom;) Is it ok to freeze fresh blueberries?? I open freeze raspberries, can i do the same with my blueberries? I like to start the day with a fruit smoothie and need to vary it slightly as its getting boring now:o

Good luck with the hair pigpen, i know how you feel, i hate getting mine done as they invariably make an @rse of it:mad: How hard is it to follow simple instructions?

Beerqueen - well done and glad to see you - remember that you can still do your xwords/hobbies etc just have a quick 15/30 mins of flying first and you'll feel a. virtuous and b. you'll enjoy your hobbies more cause you won't feel guilty about grabbing your ME time and c. you won't have pigpen chasing you with her furry mule (sorry pigpen couldn't resist )

G&B I can see no reason why you can't freeze blueberries and yes open freeze them.
