Bathroom all done.

Been down to the corner shop to get some cartons to take with me for the kids at bowling. Got the cake ready. Just party bags to do - really simple paperbags with a small knex brought in Mr T months ago for 79p each and 2 mini bags of sweets.

House is starting to turn into a tip already this weekend but as I am going to be super good at flying next week I am not stressed by it.

Lil_me forgot to say really best of luck with your course and you have done the right thing loosing a couple of commitments to make time.

Need to get PTA banking together (thinking of delegating that to somebody else for Monday).

OH tried to take his car to the garage to get it fixed but only got as far as the top of the road - he is waiting for the RAC now - hope it does not interfer with the party.

I copied loads of pics onto a CD to place in DH's coffin **hate that word** sounds daft I know but I needed to do something. We also send balloons up to Daddy with messages on, although sometimes W doesn't want to let go of his balloon!

We call them 'the eternal bed'.. and make sure everyone has a blanket and sometimes a teddy too!!

My gran died just before christmas and we all wrote christmas cards to her and included those. and even dafter.. I hang all the christmas cards she got for my lot every year... and blubber all over them as soon as I see the writing!!

I love the idea of a cd of photographs.. it doesn't sound daft at all. no dafter than a letter or a blanket or a christmas card..

• DH now taking down the outside xmas lights. Door hanging postponed for a little while due to charlie napping upstairs.

It's really windy here, the ladders just blew over narrowly missing DH's head and my front window. It went with a right bang.

Just going to wash up, have a warm drink but not tea, take my antibiotic and crack on with this school stuff. I hate having to do my school work in my time, so i know how you feel sexymouse and i am another one who always leaves it till sunday as well. I think because then i have had all of friday evening plus a whole day off so psychologically it feels better, though in reality it is pants that we lose so much time of our own. I didn't leave work till nearly 5 on friday, and still didn't get it all done. School finished at 3, so i don't know where the time goes.

Anyway, kettle just boiled. On i go,

Well there is pigpen, wonder where Mudbath might be.......Clouds are over here again, wish they'd clear off. Kids are playing in the conservatory, DS1s hijacked my PC in there, DS2s got a Transformers video on and playing with some crafts stuff (making a mess) but they're both happy ish for now, gives me half hours peace to get the banking done then more clutter clearing. DP got up in a right strop and went to get the tyres done himself (so he should to be honest) so leaves me to get what I need doing done!
One day I might be more organised...........

I left work at 6 last night and we finish at 3 as well - had a few days worth of maths marking to do, and as the student teacher in my year was staying to do her planning, I thought I'd stay to keep her company. Now I've sat down to do my plans, I've realised I've picked up 2 copies of the same textbook, and typically, it is the other one I needed the most! Doh!

We had some exciting news though on Thursday - the teacher I'm covering for (on maternity leave) went into labour, but on Friday when we came in, we were told that her contractions had stopped, so she was going to be induced at 4.30pm yesterday. Hope she's had her little girl by now! Will have to wait all weekend to find out!
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

Nah dusty.. I went to bed at 3am and simply didn't get up!! AND I plan on doing the same tonight/tomorrow lol.

AF turned up while I was out last night.. with nothing in my bag that would have been of any use.. and I am most disappointed noone asked that I was so impressed with myself for being brave and doing.. so I'll have a second flounce....

ok done now...

My ebay carp is up to £136.. and I have an amazing £23 on a old pair of dm's.. WHY???? I guess they choose to bid that much.. I am always concerned they will complain that they are not what they were described as when they get them.. but really I did say they have been worn loads.. what more can I do? Hubby is pleased his coat is uo to £33 so we should be able to get hima new one once these have all finished. I have him some lush smellies he likes which are discontinued as well which I will be keeping until fathers day.. because I am mean!

Hubby has been to the PO and collected my new shoes.. the black ones are nice with the purple and black ones are fabulous!!!!! guess what I'm wearing tonight!!!

Just for Raphael.. next week your bathroom WILL be cleaned!! It was a dirty uncleaned oven last time... did the job though!! heehee What day are you most motivated?

Anyway.. off to have a quick splash in the bathroom and off out to meet my mother.. :D

Flipping Friday!!
Those frightening kids rooms and spare rooms
Level One
Vacuum the floor, even if it's just where you can see
Spend at least half an hour doing something for yourself! Anything you like
Level Two

Clear away anything that isn't in it's place, clothes, toys, books etc for at least 10 minutes
Dusting, all those shelves and flat surfaces
Level Three -Today
[STRIKE] Strip beds, turn and vacuum mattress, replace with fresh linen [/STRIKE]
Sort through a cupboard/chest of drawers and get the clothes out which are no longer wearable, too small or out of season (do they need anything replacing?)
Wipe any sticky marks off walls and doors (yes including the handles)
Extra Mission: _I'll try some of this tomorrow too!
* Wash a set of curtains, nets, duvet or throw
* Wipe the radiators, skirtings and window & door frames
* Hotspot cleaning, spend 10 minutes tackling one at least
* Grab a bin bag and fill it with stuff to leave the house. Can be rubbish or charity shop or to donate to a friend/freecycle

Dailies done like:

Made my bed
SS bathroom/shower room (DH has scrubbed the wet room floor)
Dogs and cats fed
DW emptied
WM filled and emptied, and hung up, 2nd load on
Dinner planned
Homecheck went very well, so Missie will be going to her new Forever Home after the weekend. :j

DH has cleaned the yard, replaced the sealant in the external doors and heated the last of the homemade soup for lunch. Lovely!
Shopping is going to be left till tomorrow!

I found the Facebook thingy, coz I was already on there. If anyone would like to add me as a friend, please pm me. Thank you.

Still very cold here, but no snow yet!

Off to do some detoxing in the bedrooms and study.

Back later folks, and don't work too hard.

Well, I've decided to have a break from planning to do the food shop - it is an emergency after all - I went to get a cup of coffee to keep me going, and realised we were out of milk!!!!

I am aiming to get home by at least 4pm if not earlier, and to then carry on with my planning. I've got to the stage where I'm fed up with trying to fit all of the objectives into one week, so I think it'll be best if I take a break now, before I end up throwing something! Why the government have to repeatedly change the curriculum, I don't know - inevitably they always revert back to the old systems in the end anyway! Sorry, rant over. Off to the shops, and I'll see if I can find some nice biccies or dessert to bribe myself into finishing my plans today.

See you all later on,

sexymouse xx

PS. Has anyone heard from rach since her wedding? Wasn't sure if her honeymoon was straight after or not.
