Turns out he was waiting outside the shop and thought I would like them and he'd be romantic and stuff.

(((((hugs))))) shell - during 2005 we had two bereavements the first was my grandfather and the kids accepted it because he was old, and they understood that you dont live for ever and ever, again with previous advice be truthful you will get some strange honest questions from the kids (mine were 3 & 6) the second was harder my mum passed away later in the year after struggling with motor neurone disease for 18months they both watched her decline, move in to a nursing home and eventually rely on a wheelchair but neither of them expected her to die and they wanted to know why she had died as she wasnt old. We had to tell them that she was ill and that there was no medicine to fix her, they both very shortly afterwards by themselves decided that granny was a star in the sky and to this day if its a clear night and they see the starts they say thats grannys star. We have had some weird and wonderful comments from both of them some have made us cry and some made us laugh but ultimately being honest with them has made it easier to answer their questions.
