Morning - very busy here. I am ignoring business for the day and doing an emergency clean - 15 minutes on a room till I get really, really bored. Oh, about 10 minutes then...

Debenhams - did any one ever get the £10 voucher from Quidco? I emailed my address as requested but have not had it. Is it just me?

Serena - I am not a member of anything - but my Dad is and he loves his plants so I was just brought up to be interested. My parents have a mature Daphne J P, and the smell is just stunning. That is what got me on to that website in the first place. They also have the somerset one which is a lovely smell. He has just given me Mezereum Alba, and has promised me a Mezereum Rosea when they come next week. He has always given me a lot of plants - my mum does the garden, he messes with plants.

    Shell - hugs.

    Afternoon all.

Shell - hugs, hope everything is okay. I too would be honest, its amazing what they can handle at that age, like everyone else says you could explain shes very old and heaven is more peaceful and she can rest and watch them. Hugs xx

Embb - well done on the job, your doing well and once your more into it you'll be able to organise yourself at home, hugs

Tori - your having a roung trot with DS at the min, hugs xxx

The weather here is really bad, had snow, ice, hail stones, thunder and lightening and strong wind all at various points this morning! Thankfull for the 4x4 car today. Now bright sunshine! Power went off at 6.45pm, DS baby monitor alarm woke me, and has been on and off all morning. Had my torch and candles ready though so all was okay, just cold as bolier went off too!

Been swimming, one LO wondered off so mad panick looking for him, I found him hiding behind a screen! All 4 grandparents showed up at swimming but thankfully house was clean (ish) and tidy for them to come back. WM on, DW about to go on.

Off out later with my sister for coffee and cake - yum! Really missing DH, can't wait to see him tomorrow, DS keeps saying 'Dada' and looking around. Have decided to have a nice long bath tonight and do my nails, etc so I'll look a bit more yummy than slummy. *wink, wink*

    See you all later xx

Sorry only just managed to get on internet again, first i want to say.
Shell (((Huge Hugs))) it can be difficult to explain to a child about losing a family member. I lost my mum in 2006 which was devasting. my 7yr old was also devasted more so because she said she didn't get to say nite nite to her. a dear friend suggested that my daughter wite her a letter and attach it to a balloon and send it to heaven so that her nanna could read it, this we did and i found it helped her very much, she understood that nanna could reply but in her words " at least i have told nanna how much i love her and she will be able to read her letter whenever she gets a bit lonely and miss's us"
LG- So please to hear your Dad is feeling better, I know how hard it is sorting things out but please take some time for yourself as well. OK
Dustykitten - OMG that is so Sad

On a good note- had a call from Virgin and they are reimbursing this months internet payment £25 :j
Need to go and do some ironing now so catch you later.

Shell you may not think this is a good idea and no problems if you don't. I have told my DS that when you see white feather it is someone in heaven saying hello. In my case it is his auntie. Not only doesn't it make DS feel better (he is 4) it also makes me smile.

My niece sent a balloon in the sky to her mum last Christmas. It was a nice way for her to feel that her mum was still included and to write a little something to her mum. It was private and we told her that no-one would it.

    (((big hugs)))))
