Firstly thanks to everyone for the replies and suggestions and hugs, they are all much appreciated. DH Nan has now passed away and will be back with his Poppa so I know she will be happy. Both had more than a few tears but littles were at school/nursery. DD1 is meant to have a friend come round for tea tonight, DH says he thinks friend should still come and we will break the news to them tomorrow when they are not tired. I dont expect much reaction from DD2, well not until a few weeks later when i know out of the blue something will cross her mind. DD1 not sure how she will be but will take on board all your comments and just be honest and open so she does not see it as something to be scared of.
Hugs to Dusty - Death is never easy but at least DH Nan had had a really good life, its so tragic when people are taken before what should be their natural time.
I have tidied round a bit, all looks clean and tidy but not the usual effort, think the getting up at 4.45 is starting to take its toll. I have currently eating a marsbar and drinking a coffee to address this situation;) .
I went and got my eyebrows done, went in and she said about wax (I nearly ran out the door) but she talked me into it and you know what.... it didnt really hurt. Maybe about the same as pulling a plaster off, infact I dont think as much as that. My face looks weird now, keep catching sight of myself in mirrors, never realised how much difference eyebrows made.
Likklegibbon - Fab news about your dad! and he is being positive and looking to the future so thats a good sign too. Sounds like you are doing a fab job helping them out on the practical side of things too.0 -

Brilliant sunshine here today although very cold. Thank goodness January is over, I hate January. Not much in the way of flying being done, as OH is in DS1 and 2's room, fitting the wardrobe doors, and DD did her room really nicely last weekend.
I have run the hoover round the ground floor, and started doing January's accounts. I had letter from the Tax Credits people which made absolutely no sense, so rang them for a chat. Seems that when I rang to tell them about extra income from interest, it triggered the computer to make an extra payement the day after the usual one, and then reduced the following two payments - strange system. So, I've decided to move the extra payment into my savings account, then dole it out over the next two months to make up the shortfall - does that make sense?? Tax Credits - a whole parallel universe...
Off downtown, to try to buy a new bra and a new top. And take back DS2's rugby shorts.
shell - hugs, in my prayers. It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0 -
Kimberley I have a breadbin, I just hate having bread on the benches on display plus my partner is useless at fastening the bread back up so if he puts it in there it doesn't tend to go hard.
soappie, oh heck, happened to me last week, saying that all I did was throw a towel on the floor and wipe down the front of it all, mine needs defrosting as soon as it's empty anyway. Hope all the food is still ok.
Thank you and Embb
Thats it then on my shopping list for tomorrow, i'm going to Argos to get one
I'm just sick of the ugly sight of different bread packets and rolls on my worktop and want it gone gone

Lol, I did realise it read a little odd when I'd written it but I was too tired to try and make more sense. I'm glad you got there in the end. Are you going to get one? My friend got a 10 foot one and wishes she'd got the bigger one xx0 -
Dusty Just had some really sad news here that one of the lads in one of the footballs teams local to here died yesterday. I don't know any details but that poor family - he would have been 13/14.
that is so sad. I know when teenie's mate died last year it hits everyone hard.mumofjusttwo My niece sent a balloon in the sky to her mum last Christmas. It was a nice way for her to feel that her mum was still included and to write a little something to her mum. It was private and we told her that no-one would it.
That's done it!
Shell big hugs for you
It's a really difficult time.

Managed to get round the shops in peace as LO fell asleep in the car and then slept all the way round the shops:D Just having a cuppa then will prep dinner, do some ironing, do the dishes and go to work for a rest:oThe trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0
