Ah - the joys of sharing our men gripes.....

It's nice that we can all 'fly' to this thread and share them all, though. We may be annoyed with our own OH's but at least we can join in laughing at each others!!!

Thanks for the smiles this morning ladies!! xx

I just had to chip in here because my dh ALWAYS spends longer looking for the tools to do any diy than he spends actually doing it. And he ALWAYS has to go out to buy some bit/part or other that he suddenly realises he needs. . Of course I'm perfect !

    Good morning all:wave::wave::wave:
I have decided to try some flying today as it is an easier day. I still have my right wrist in a splint so I have managed some gentle dusting and tidying left handed! DH has gone out to work today as he has got a couple of days working for a friend. DD rang with a desperate need for help and as I can't drive DH had to get out of bed and go to her aid. He is still depressed but at least we have got him doing something that is worthwhile so he feels a bit better. It makes me feel a lot happier too.:j

Mudbath don't stress about the housework just do something easy from the list and you feel good that you have done something. I used to get in a terrible state about everything but am learning still to leave some things for another time. Also my doc says don't worry about what friends will think because if they are bothered about the state of your house then they aren't real friends. I wish I had realised this when my kids were little as I don't think I spent enough time with them and now they are all grown up.
Sorry when I read back it sounds like a lecture but its not meant that way.
:rotfl::rotfl:Now, my kids want to know how their mother who is disabled has managed to get tennis elbow and the fracture that I had las Christmas in my foot is a typical snow boarding injury. Wonder what I will get next, I don't mind if it sounds like I am the sporty type.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I did level 2 in the kitchen yesterday but didn't have the heart to post.

I also did the living room and hallway (including computer desk).

Today I've vacuumed right through downstairs and vacuumed the stairs. Also got a load of washing out on the line.

Spent half an hour in the garden: pruned roses, cut back straggly bits and generally tidied up a bit. Felt mild while I was out there.

Terrible night last night, next door having a shouting match at 1 am and then again at 4 am. Feel like a zombie now. Can't wait till they move.

Quick check in whilst LO sleeps

    been to playgroup
    washing now on airers
    potatoes peeled for kiddies tea
    post opened and dealt with

i am lucky that my DH is wonderful - but for hs memory! - I can put the washing in the washer when I leave for work and just ask him to switch it on later - he always forgets - hence why I am a stress head and he is chilled out - nothing in there to worry him!!

:rotfl: at all the man bashing going on in here today. Mine too is exactly the same. Infact he can open a cupboard if I tell him whatever he is looking for is in there and not see it, even though it is right infront of him. Isnt it a proven medical fact that chaps brains dont function that way:confused: , sure it was on a programme I watch once. I too get blamed for "moving" stuff when i tidy up. My arguement "if you didnt leave it lying around I wouldnt have to tidy it". I am tempted the next time he goes off on one about this to go on strike for a week and he would soon be singing a different tune.

    So far today I have:-

    Made packups
Usual morning routine (breakfast, get littles ready etc)
    Done breakfast dishes
    Disinfected all worktops
    Put load in WM
    S & S bathroom
    Bleached loo
    Had 1 1/2 driving lesson
    Collected little from Nursery
Popped to shop for fruit, veg & milk
Caught up with 4 pages of the thread

Lounge not too bad as dusted yesterday so just needs its daily hoover through.

Lady next door stopped me on way home and gave me a tin of roses as they have about 8 tins so she thought the littles would like them (mummy is pleased too;) ) - scoff, scoff, russel, russel - screws sweeties wrappers into a ball. Would anyone like one? no not that one they are my fav....he he he

DD1 is obsessed with quiche:confused: , she stayed cooked dinners yesterday and had quiche (whenever she stays she always chooses quiche), then wanted the same again for tea. Did make some mini ones up for her packups so she went to school a happy bunny today. Is it normal for a just 5 year old to have a quiche fettish:rotfl: .

DD2 zonked out in her buggy on way home from nursery, glad I made her get in it this morning as didnt think she would walk home and its too far to carry her. Virus is gone but its zapped all her energy, bless.

DH out this evening at the Jockey Club for a slap up meal and "shop talk" with people in the industry - DD decided hotdogs for tea so :j night off for me then really:D .

Maybe just one more choc and then I will sort the washing in the machine, should have pegged it out but think will throw it in the TD - just shove DH work shirts on the line.

    Coffee and chocolate anyone?
