Ashbart, my hubby is the same, seems to think I'm some sort of walking, remembering filofax for his sole use.... actually my Dad thinks that too. Hubby will no longer even try looking for things, he will just ask me. Even if he sat it down somewhere, I somehow know where it is....
It's strange because I usually do know where it is, or if it's lost I will find it pretty quick. Years of practice I guess.
It's a pity that all that brain space is getting used to log where everything is though, I could be doing something with it, like reverse parking.
*I am taking it easy* :rotfl:
:coffee: magazine, bliss.... :T
Oh and you will never guess who I dreamt of last night.... :A
Hello tiamai - You sound exactly the same as me and I'm sure our OH's must be twins separated at birth...? :rotfl: Actually, the more and more I read your posts, the more and more I think our OH's ARE twin brothers....!
I don't know how we do actually seem to know where everything is and you're right - what a waste of brain space!! Finding things OH has lost is always the same - just think like him. No matter where I find it though, he's always adamant that I must have put it there when I was cleaning.....
They moan when we clean, they moan when we don't.
We should get awards for being so bl00dy clever, really!!!Official DFW Member 716 - Proud to be dealing with my debts0 -

Morning everyone,
I'm in again today. Got on well yesterday and really chuffed, kitchen looks all sparkly. Now to start on the living room (after this quick coffee!)
Had a late start as had bit of pampering session this morning, was supposed to be last night, bath and all the works, but I was too tired after all the flying! :rotfl:
Hugs to those that need them, happy flying day and speak later :j:j Ellie (Eleanor) Sophie arrived 10 days late on 19th November at 8.21am. 9lbs 1 oz :j0 -
AnWsmum.. everybody's birthdays are pretty closse in your house!! Is yours about now too?? Wasn't it December? I hope he likes his bike.. i got my 3 littlest bikes for christmas and DD3 LOVES hers.. DD4 isn't strong enough to make hers go very well and Tiddles can't coordinate her leggies to do the pedals.. needs a bit of coaching!!
Yes it was mine just before Christmas, so an expensive month or so and then the rest of the year off
Will be leaving shortly to go and collect W's bike. Time for a :coffee: first though. Still got dodgy net connection so can everyone please forgive me if I do not reply straight away, I am not ignoring you all. Starting to get really pee'd off with it all now though.Official Mascot and Chief Cheerleader for the 'Mortgage Free in Three' Gang0 -

Well done :T it feels such a relief doesn't it! I felt even better after I called the tax credit people as well yesterday. All these piddling jobs which in reality don't take long to do, ok the tax return took ages but that was because I was not organised. The inputting was quick and I like the fact that you know exactly how much you are stung with!Official Mascot and Chief Cheerleader for the 'Mortgage Free in Three' Gang0 -
Dusty - I wish I was more like you. When you know you have tonnes of other stuff on you just accept that the flying has to take a back seat. Me, on the other hand, I stress about it until everything on my list is done so, for that reason, I'm going to make myself not do one thing on my list every day! Doesn't sound hard but for me it will be...think i'm a control freak. So, today's list;

You should know by now that ALL men are the same!!! They are all useless at remembering where they put things (says she how has a brain like a sieve!) They all come from the same gene pool so stands to reason that they are the same :rotfl::rotfl:
When I was little I remember being sat in the car with Dad on numerous occasions with him saying 'Where is your mum' and me replying from the back 'I don't know I'll just put my x-ray glasses on and find out' :rotfl:Official Mascot and Chief Cheerleader for the 'Mortgage Free in Three' Gang0 -
My Dad cussed and shouted for two hours that someone had hidden/lost/stolen/moved his watch.
GUESS where it was....
He also walked into a lamp post once too... too busy staring at a girl as she walked by. We saw it coming but didn't bother to warn him. :rotfl:0 -
Everyone is having fun with their menfolk this morning then? I drove my husband nearly an hour away to do a course, he was like 2 mins late cos we got lost. He said wait 5 mins in case they dont let me in, so i parked up, waited 5 and there was no sign if him. LO then piped up that she needed a poo so i thought it was safe to leave. I drove the hour back home, only to find he had phoned me about 5 times(I forgot to take my mobile) i phoned him back and he said he had ordered a taxi to bring him home and I was going to have to pay the £35 fare:mad: I think not!!The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0

Oh dear, half hour of looking at serious papers has left me with my total debt of twice my salary and the snowball says 89 months to pay it off.
Serious thinking now required of how we can cut that down - and yes Pigpen I am Ebaying! In fact if its not fixed down its liable to get sold at the min.
So cross I need to do something - anyone else up for a HHC? Say 11.30 to 12?
(grumble, grumble, grumble.........flings papers about.)
MoamAlthough no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.
Snowball says too far away, working hard to bring it forward.0
